Kinda, might be able to be used for that but it's large purpose was more direct bunker busting and heavier affect then the regular paveway 2

Do you have to uncage or is it automatically tracking the laser upon drop? (Trigger uncage or wait for it the diamond to be in the center circle)

what would be the effective range of such a weapon?

Well you'd put your laser on the target, uncage (to I guess give it the other half of the data it needs for thrust vectoring and what not) however it wouldn't be fire and forget

Effective range would be 15 to 10 nautical miles simular to the agm 188 Anti Rad missile in the 24G

The AGM188 has a maximum effective range of ~45 nautical miles and is available on both the EF24G and the AV42C
