The Laser Designator on TPODS such as the LITENING and SNIPER have a laser range finder for laser munitions as present in VTOL VR. This laser rangefinder is able to use the distance and speed of the aircraft to determine when the munition will strike its target, giving you a countdown till the time until then. To my knowledge this functionality is present in several real airframes such as the F-16. This might also open up some doors for other systems such as timed lasing too, witch could be helpful in the event of the enemy detecting your lase.
