ye, but hotter the thing, the further distance the missiles will track, and considering that it would be at most a tiny amount hotter than surrounding air (at least tiny compared to engines) i feel that we would be too close for missiles when the seekers start tracking. maybe the thrust vectoring ones would hit, but i dont think aim-9s would work

If you are exposed to the sun you will heat up, and if you are above the clouds you will heat up more

so fly low, and at night! either way, i assume we would have flares in it, since those seem kinda important in a warzone, and those would have very high chance of confusing the missile, or at least high compared to what it is now
