Hardened trench line as stationary small-arms unit. Potentially 15-20 meters long. Uses similar mechanic as hill bunker where hits need to be landed in the trench itself.
Would also be nice if it could load or unload infantry, with number of infantry loaded defining how much fire it puts out. It would ultimately act like an APC, except the number of targets it can engage at once is determined by number of troop slots that are filled.

Depending on the warhead and penetration. A near hit would need to have the impact energy and explosive power to blow up a bunker, while a direct hit would have the same damage resistance as a light armored vech.

Added idea: two check boxes: "Has ATGM." "Has Manpad."
If box is checked, having at least 1 infantry loaded will allow tench to fire TOW or Manpads respectively from one emitter. (Having any more infs will simply create more small arms fire)

yes. the actual infs aren't shooting. they are just loaded. The trench model has little fake models of dudes with their firing emmiters. The trench as the unit is firing, not the actual inf units.
