or at least a version of it
you can dynamicly change the time of day. and also i heard you will be able to speed up time so it passes more quickly. like a full day and night cycle.
I am aware of the weather which is why this is here, just would be a cool little detail for sense of time and more environmental variation
but we have that.
you can change the time and let it run until it does a full day and night.
but right now its 1 to 1 time.
i heard mention of getting an option to speed that up
no not a day night ycle, a moon stage cycle
as the earth rotates and changes positions relative to the sun, the moon looks different and goes through a full cycle, from no reflected light, to a full moon. typically taking about I believe 30 days.
no your all good it was kind of vague to begin with
we do have an option for that though.
you can change the lat and long of the position of the sun and moon. not sure if its dynamic thoug
we dont have the diffrent looks of the moon
i dont think
ya like that would be part of the day night cycle but moon stages would be over the span of 30 in game days
yeah. i think it would be cool if that was a thing. or just set what the next day would bring.
ya would just be another detail for long missions
long campaigns.
or campaigns with multiple "Days" to it would be super cool .
so like you have a campaign at X date.
then the next mission would be at Y date and the maker could set the moon to be diffrent
iirc we have this with ptb, the moon and sun are simulated celestial objects
thats what i was saying.
i guess i didnt remeber it right
Yeah this is a thing, change the date and it will progress through the moon cycle
If you override the location and set the date/time in the mission editor, you can get an eclipse
