Yea I don’t see why this isn’t on all aircraft but the vtols

the 45 can’t have this because it’s vtol

45 could easily have that feature as well, just set a button to toggle between VTOL mode and normal flight. In normal flight, left stick allows for zoom, in VTOL mode, left stick controls tilt
This would work on the F/A-26 and T-55, probably not on the F-45 cause the left thumbstick is bound to engine tilt
Definitely agree, it would make it easier for people who jump around aircraft too… jumping in from a 24 to a 45 I often go into vtol without thinking and confused why my TSD isn’t zooming lmao
I can see that if a VTOL lock button was incorporated
There was a suggestion I saw that would only allow for nozzle tilt if the master arm was turned off, which I think would be a good way to go about it

It would give a greatly needed nerf to the 45’s effectiveness in BFM as well
