I was trying to teach my friend how to fire radar and anti radiation missiles but neither his radar or arad would lock onto a target for these. He could move the parallel bars but could not lock anything. I tried it with him in the t55 and found it was only a bug with him. Are there any small fixes he can try to get this sorted out?

#flight_school would probably be better for this type of question. It seems like they weren't depressing the thumbstick button on the controller after slewing the parallel bars over the target

If it is a thumbstick you're trying to click, it can be a bit finicky at first

Yeah we ran into that bug in the t55 but the same thing is happening to him when he is alone in the f/a 26
