I have a character that I spent a lot of time drawing, and is pretty much the single most-drawn OC that I have
She's kinda inspired by Rusty Lake's Laura Vanderboom, which I leave every now and again as an easter egg
Her name's Cassandra, or more commonly Cassy.
And today it's Cassy time :D
Basically, what I've got is three versions of the same character, but in different fandoms.
Purple is normal Cassy, coming right from how I'd normally picture her as my muse. She's the original design, and is supposed to have a couple of references to RL
Cyan is Elemental Cassy, a nymph of Aether, dimension of cosmic powers and free thought
Yellow is a futuristic Cassy, wearing a chromasynthetic armor. Chromasynthetics are my own race of synthetic lifeforms based off of living color blobs incased in metal armor

Think Im getting close to calling it done. I've added a foreground which makes the whole thing way more cosy.
Think ill have to move the boat a bit closer now though, the foreground gives it more 3d perspective, and it seems to make him look unnaturally big.

Also, please give feedback on the menacing creature in the sky. I want it too be very vague, so that it doesnt interrupt the composition, but I want people to be able to spot it eventually.
I think I got it quite right, and I use a very good IPS screen these days, so it should be good.

Personally I don't think the foreground makes the man look terribly unproportioned. Like you said, it adds a lot of depth to the image. I would suggest experimenting with an edit that still has a foreground but with no or minimal foliage. Otherwise excellent work :>
