This was created almost entirely inside the game. Things imported from outside the game were the low poly humanoid model that I subdivided in Blender, the antlers model, small sprites for the customization, Harvey, and an Emissions Map for the glowing eyes

I originally created it because I wanted a posable corrupted soul for another project I may or may not ever finish but then I wanted to create a fully featured avatar as an exercise. I made this Rusty lake history book thing for one of my school projects, not everything is entirely accurate or doesn’t include all the info but it’s just for school. I made the timeline myself and it only leaves out a few because of the space or not have enough time/games not out yet. I used to do all my art with just ibisPaint X, my phone, and a finger!! Ah, those were the days. Then I got an iPad and Apple Pencil for Christmas!
Sometimes, whenever I want to draw digitally but don’t have my iPad on me, I go back to using my finger and wonder how I even was able to draw with it in the first place. Now it feels difficult compared to using a pen! Kudos to you.

A little while ago I drew Albert as a mule and I decided to finally make a reference sheet for him (I’ll eventually do the rest of the vanderboom clan)

I decided he’s a mule because mules are typically seen as “ugly” or “undesirable” compared to horses, and mules usually live longer then horses plus more durability so he would be a mule just for that

The thing:i wanted to keep timeline more or less canonical:death of Vanderbooms,Brith of rose
So I came up with this:

Vanderboom family was accused to be witch crafters(for obvious reasons) by Some peopel who lived aside from Rusty lakes Territory (and logically avoided that lake)

They wanted to get rid of one of wedded women(you know,devils bride) but instead of Ida(who already was married to Samuel) they mistakenly took Agnes and burnt her in front of Vanderbooms garden

Albert finds out Samuel was a scaredy cat and decided to snitch on Agnes(cause during that time she and Albert werent married YET),but wanted to save Ida

After Albert finds out,he kills both in blind rage,since they were reason his happiness was taken away,Especially with Samuel ,who did it twice in his life,
He Spares Leonard cause kid didnt do anything(besides,He once called Agnes Aunty) and was one of few Vanderbooms to cry when seeing her burn

Cause of Agnes dying by being burnt alive,Albert couldn’t get egg,so h used Idas(as in another revenge cause Agnes died in Idas Place)

Rose is born like in canon
