They've also got a digital instax that still does the printing but lets you edit a bit beforehand
Otherwise I don't have a take on cameras XD

It really depends on what you want to do with it

An instax/Polaroid is super useful! It obviously instaprints and you have a physical reminder

I started out with an instax one and moved to older analog slr cameras (the ones you have to load With actual film) because I like slowing down to line up a shot and the "imperfections" of film

But obviously if you're looking to mainly post online a digital camera is probably more your speed (so either an older DSLR a mirrorless system or if you want to be more casual about it look for digital point and shoots)

Also "good" Cameras and especially "good" lenses get really expensive

Uh tl;dr ask yourself why you want to take photos and work backwards from there (or forwards)

Question! What's the resolution/quality of Instax? My dad says that there's a reason polaroid and instant cameras died out, because everything went to digital
I told him that analog stuff is coming back like record players and Polaroids
And I thought about getting an Instax for Christmas lol

It's really difficult to make pictures from something like an instax 12 look good, but it's something with a low threshold for Getting Into photography. Most of the modern models, for example, have an auto flash you cannot turn off

I really like mine because it encourages me to take pictures by having such a low use threshold. I'm not too concerned about setting up the shot, moreso with capturing the fun thing/pretty flower I saw
