In everyone's experience what's the most emotional game you've ever played?

i know it sounds weird but i cry at almost every genshin story these days lol.. their writers are actually really good (if you can ignore the gacha and skimpy costumes, which i do)

i just appreciate the emotional depth they started giving characters in later areas and also the amount of research they do regarding characters cultures and jobs/interests to make them very realistic.. it's quite unusual from my experience for big games like this to have deep stories

of course Journey was first and it's better if you don't like multiplayer (besides one random companion) and a lot of people running around in weird costumes honking lol.. that can be intense in sky.. for me it's kind of counterintuitive to the levels story line.. even though at the same time that game despite having the same basic story is also meant to be about exploring together and helping each other

Had some friends fiddle around in it. Looked interesting, but the grind is unbelievable, also the story is a little bit... lacking. Some bugs then and there, and the economy is wonky, but rewarding if you can manage to micro every little thing. I am more of a modded Minecraft and Factorio guy, so the lack of automation put me off, but it has promise.

The graphics are nice tho, Genshinuesque, if you're into that kind of thing.

I almost forgot, I was tempted once to try it because it has fishing, and that already adds a lot of pluses, but you cannot swim in it.
