Especially if it's tracing off of a photo you took

That's actually one of the standard ways to use references

Many of my pics start by tracing the poses of stock images cause I struggle to get proportions right with the whole skeleton manoeuvre

Just the base form tho, then I tweak and redraw based on needs

Unless you get another artwork and completely copy/trace it and claim it as your own

Not saying tracing is bad though, but remember to ask permission and credit the artist if you plan on posting it

I always thought that warlock/witch/wizard/sorcerer/mage were just diff terminology for the same thing, with some stuff (like "witch for women, wizard for men") being more of consensual usage of words for better understanding

Its not realy just a dnd thing lol, magic users are separated in three categories: wizards (witches), sorcerers and warlocks, wizards obtain power by rigorous studying, sorcerers are born with inate power, and warlocks make deals with powerful entities for the ability of spellcasting
