It's more like a memory of something from her past life, kind of what we experience as deja vu, that made her upset and caused moths to come out. I connected this to Mr. Rabbit remembering substances of his past life (which doesn't really make sense? Their situations might be entirely different)

I'm not 100% where I am going, as I am myself very confused about this part of the story tbh 😭 But it might be a hint Laura also realized something about her past lifes existence? We don't know what is the cause of her Very very very bad mental state

1. it's natural to recall something from a past life
2. her past life would be so traumatic

1.) I agree actually! But I do think she might've? Let me explain:

• Her mental health was very bad and we don't know why. We can conclude it's not because of Robert, as it seems they had a relatively good relationship - just that she couldn't keep in contact with him anymore. So maybe the reason has to with this?
• In her letter she said to Bob that they'll maybe see each other in their "next life"
• If Laura reacts to substances from her past lives in Seasons, specifically in Spring before her corruption (right?) it might be a hint that she is realizing something
• She did return to Rusty Lake, which she told Bob about. Who knows what she might've learnt from her visit?

Of course, everyone gets deja vu - but they might've been stronger for her because of the process of her rebirth? Or was there another reason she realized? That being said, she did have a bad mental health before going to Rusty Lake so she might've not learned about it until then. Maybe she saw something at the Vanderboom house, if she ever lived there?

2.) It could be an explanation to her bad mental health -> eventual suicide

In this area, there's still a lot we don't know but it is really fun to theorize (which is why I love the games so much, even if I turn out not to be right)
