A voodoo sorcerer
the only human that can do that stuff is probably Ida
what stuff?
aren't we talking about CS?
yes
I thought Albert is beyond human
when he wears masks
that made him more like CS or Asura
not sure
some people are more capable
like Ida & Rose
some have knowledge
If I'm not mistaken voodoo is about speaking with spirits
continuing these thoughts, I can assume that Albert dealt with some CS
one guy from reddit assumed that a CS that many call Crow was evoked by Albert's sorcery
Should theories be in spoiler tags or is this whole channel basically one big spoiler anyway?
nah
read the pinned messages
this channel is full of spoilers
ask anything u want here
Yes this^
So I had a thought. It's probably an obvious thing that everyone already knows about... But the messages about "Not the blue vial!" in Paradox are signed "D". Is it Dale leaving himself clues? If so, he'd already been trapped in the loop for who knows how long before us the players even showed up.
so, you are saying that everytime the paradox room stays the same and not refreshed?
By that I mean, it doesnt reset
if it doesnt reset, he remembers his choices, why would he bother to sign
If it does reset, why would the sign be there and not erased
Some things change, but others stay the same. The furniture is basically the same in both chapters one and two.
If I were trapped in a loop, I'd want to give myself clues.
if it doesnt reset, he remembers his choices, why would he bother to sign
His memory seems to be somewhat effected every time he wakes up in the room. He can recall some things, but has trouble remembering other details.
just in case
u know that paradox is in his mind right
Yes
then the room can be whatever he wants technically
however
it is also manipulated by Mr Owl and lake power
But I feel like it might be more than that, in a way. Like a simulation. Since, that's how Dale finds out that Owl wants him to be his successor.
Exactly. Dale's hooked up to that machine in The Cave. Owl could be manipulating his mind.
Perhaps
I feel like the room is a simulation of sorts that shuffles around every time Dale reaches the end and restarts.
not really
what kind of end do u mean
the end of saving or not saving Laura
or u mean in general
of the game
Whenever either Laura dies or he sacrifices himself
yes
then he will not restart
if he made his decision
but the ending is opened
so we dont know his decision until next Dale related game
No matter what choice he makes, we always look in the cube and he ends up back in the room. If I'm remembering correctly, anyway.
I could be remembering wrong.
if he chose Laura dies
He gets on the elevator Journey with golden cube
and goes with CE Birthday and Theatre
then arrive hotel
I'm pretty sure, if he kills Laura, Dale picks up the cube and we see a flash of live action Dale and goes back to the room
the normal endings we see are the looped ones
The Chapter 1 secret ending? I never got the Chapter 2 achievements 😅
well yes
and no
Pulled a Master Splinter on me, I see
chapter 1 shows u
No worries
I personally agree with Dale staying there for quite a while & leaving notes for himself
Ye I think it's fair to assume dale goes through more than just the loops we see in ch1+2 and the movie^
What's more, as I said before, Dale staying in Paradox for months would elegantly explain his beard regrowth in the lore boundaries
I do agree but I find it strange that the mark hasnt been erased
I thought the paradox room resets every time he comes back
since its not reality
We could derive what resets & what doesn't
maybe Dale defines that since its technically his own mind
Or maybe the Lake is permitting those little helps to let him get out in the right way.
also possible
Well actually, you know how in The Matrix, in the real world Neo is bald, but when he goes back into the Matrix he has hair? That's because that's how he sees himself.
Paradox takes place in Dale's mind so I believe a similar thing is happening there with his beard.
Unless I'm mistaken, Paradox takes place at the same time Dale's hooked up to the machine in The Cave, where he is without his beard.
I agree on Dale's state however I'm not that sure if he would still see himself bearded.
Another thing is, Dale preserves such feature as forhead wound. It appears in ch1 and stays through ch2 & even the movie (which is depicted to take place afterwards)
🤔 Interesting
probably due to constantly bang his head every time he resets
you don't get me
he wakes up already wounded
after supposed reset
Some furniture stays the same, but others disappear and others are added. Like I said before, it seems to shuffle around and not reset completely.
according to the movie, the furniture doesn't change as much as you think. The room contains both the sofa & the table with armchairs
I assume Dale just focuses on different things during different levels
I never thought of that 🤔
However, the drawers contain different things in Chapter 1 vs Chapter 2. Chapter 1 has files on different people and in Chapter 2 it's a phonebook
I tend to think that we should always question what we see
and also what we don't
because there are not only in-lore reasons
but also the ones outside it
Yes, look beyond what you see, as the monkey boi in The Lion King says
gameplay, allegories & symbols, oversights & retcons, narrative, technical limitations & so on & so forth
hmm i want to know more about the lore
so far ive played the first 3 cube escapes
in seasons this one girl ||gets murdered but, who is she??||
the best source to start knowing more is to play all of them)))))))
I'd say the best way to learn more is by playing more games
Aha great minds think alike
why does it matter, you think?
hmmmmm
i think the girl visited rusty lake because of the note on the wall
so its all related
then in cube escape lake
i think we're playing as the girl
when she went there
maybe
you're goddamn right))))))))
I didn't piece that together until I started exploring the wiki page :v
i still dont know what to think about arles tho
I think almost no one did
the last game i played
for me it's 3 things:
- CE: van Gogh edition
- an outside view over laws of RL
- a possible clue on how exactly did the woman die
So the city of Arles is in France, unless I'm mistaken. Which means somehow, Van Gogh was affected by the lake even though he was most likely quite a ways away from it. ||Since there's a good case that Rusty Lake is in North America, though I know that's a debated topic.||
Not for certain, but there are clues
ive also played hotel because thats how i got into this saga, and the hotel looks very european to me
Or Rusty Lake is its own pocket dimension
I've got a theory that van Gogh was cured at RL in that universe instead of St. Paul Asylum
I feel like different parts take place in different areas tbh
we don't have many
Ah. Well, I'm not well versed in the life of Van Gogh
cant be discarded!!!
True, but with what we do have there can be a case made for that
how exactly many you can name?
ehm
the ending
it was pretty explicit
oh
I've read that it's ||The Woman||, but it wasn't clear to me during the game
i missed something 😁
oh
I propose not using spoiler tags here because no one respects them
I just didn't want to blurt it out in case someone didn't want to know
OH makes sense
i didnt think the ending of seasons was ||ourselves on the window|| lol
Okie dokie then
oh sorry
i will do
It was about the mirror
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
don't worry
is harvey's identity revealed
it's just my wish to make your discoveries more pure
because i remember in spring a note said, can I eat harvey's egg?
not really but we have some interesting insides
will it spoil me about other games if you tell me them?
OH
oh i did find the parrot very interesting
i was so sad when i had to kill it :c
you'll be surprised even more
I tapped on it as a joke and I didn't know that it would work 😭
(in case you are able to find secrets)
i did manage to get the code from seasons in lake
such a nice artistic move, I'd say
Spring and Winter in Seasons are a couple decades apart, Harvey resembles a parakeet, and parakeets don't live much longer than a few years. That alone told me that something was up with the birb.
I thought Spring was in the 60s and Winter was in the 80s
🤔
Idk I have Swiss cheese brain
oh dont worry i beat it yesterday LOL
1981*
Aha
71 was in summer & fall
oooh
see i was confused
seasons was such a misterious game
i understood lake more
WAIT i have a question about lake
at some point i fish a dead body
whos that
are they important
I don't think it was someone particular
yeah
oh
antidepressant
(however IRL it was mass-produced not earlier than 80s)
maybe
the woman was followed by that shadow after the encounter in the lake
so she began to get depressed and panicked
and thus shes taking antidepressants
she was depressed in spring 1964 already
the lake takes place some time (discover the year yourself) before Summer
summer contains all flashbacks about the lake
oh
then she went to the lake because she was depressed and wanted to imporve her mental health
like its said in the
leaflets
Aye
and that was deliberately confirmed only in the 9th game of the series. GJ
LOOOL
I mean confirmed confirmed
you can't even imagine how deep it is
harvey's box
the deeper the more interesting it is
I love that one because of who we get to play as
do you know how to incorporate the premium games into the playthrough order?
at least into the one intended by the devs
no, what do you mean?
there are just 10 Cube Escape games
im playing all the games for free on bluestacks except the rusty lake ones
while there are 15 in that universe in total
Oh for real!?!??!?!
with the 16th upcoming next year
Yup. I really want to play the premium ones soon. I'm just waiting for my ship to come in. And also the Steam Christmas sale.
how do i incorporate the premium ones, and where do i purchase them?
what platform do you use?
ah
All the Rl games are on steam^
yes but im playing cube escape rn
and also google play
are those in steam tho??
Only the collection! Whichll cost you some money
And paradox on its own, that's free at least?
I don't recommend getting the premium games with Bluestacks -- they're the same price on Steam and with Steam it's less likely to have your information leaked. I've heard of some Bluestacks mishaps.
is the collection just 1 game?
9 old CE games
With additional fancy achievements
OOOH so the one cube escape game thats on steam is the one not in collection
Well, they are the same on phones
cube escape paradox
Ye paradox is not in the collection^
According to Google there's actually an Autumn sale on right now, but my connection stinks right now so I can't get on the Steam website to confirm
the best RL game in my book
will i get the premium games if i buy the collection?
they are sold separately
no spoilers i want to play them in order
and where do i buy them
you are not even familiar to its protagonist
do i just look for cube escape on steam and theyll be there?
Here's what I do: I'm also using Bluestacks for the Cube Escape Collection because it's free on there.
But for the premium games, Cube Escape: Paradox and the others, I'm using Steam.
but WHICH are the premium games
Search for Rusty Lake
oh so the premium games are hotel, paradise and roots?
Anyway I think it's about time yo remind y'all to please stick to Theories in this channel ;)
TWD is also considered premium
For any general questions about the games feel free to use #🩸|general-chat though!
Thanks for answering their questions though Crafter
@frozen pier I'm looking forward hearing out your theories about CE:HB when you finish it
ty!!!
x2
@frozen pier I have seen that u are playing hotel now, which may cause some confusion due to sudden animal characters, it is recommendable to play paradise as well and bring ur thoughts!
I am looking forward to hearing it as well
i want to play the games on order, ill play paradise soon
yep
im quite busy lately tho, my studies take up a lot of my time
just saying that keep going!
no need to rush
we are quite calm in the community, since TPW is next year
@frozen pier does it mean that you've played HB already?
i haven't yet sadly :c
i was quite busy yesterday, but since today I'm free I'll be able to play
dont push him
okay so
ive played
harveys box
and im playing case 23 BUT its late and im scared
so this is a pause
Just....be ready for Chapter 4
NAURRR ive just started chapter 3
All I'll say is it was the most stressful thing I've played in a while
anyway i think in harvey's box we play as a rat but... thats weird
But anywho, what are your thoughts?
No we play as the birb
because we know harvey, from seasons
I KNEWWW ITTT
it used to be even more intense before the collection update I hated them cutting off that part.
Yeah, what have you learnt from HB?
okay so the thing is ive played hotel already
so ive beat mrs pigeon's room
and i know she was experimenting on some children
is that baby bird the one in the box in harvey's box??
why the box would be named after Harvey then?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
okay so the thing is harvey is a person
but we dont know who
so maybe harvey has become a bird somehow
Harvey was mentioned in Seasons
I'm gonna have to stay out of this bit, because I haven't played Hotel yet and I wanna avoid spoilers ^^
bingo
Yessssss. Remember Harvey's song
okiee im still on case 23 tho, its just ive played hotel because i just got it for free
LOL
XD
I forget, have you played The Lake?
yeah
not initially
but thats all ive gotten
i didnt notice where we were before i
that would be a good theory
yeah I mean why specifically that fruit
at the start we're at the room
i have!!!
i bought collections today because its cheap and makes stuff more comfortable
it sure does
Oh! Is the fish with legs--wait that spoils Paradox. Erm...
Is the fish with legs ||Mr. Owl because he has a fish head for a second in Paradox?||
-doesnt reveal spoiler-
I don't think so
is there anything left for me to know about harvey's box or should i go on with case 23?
I don't think so
it's about next life
Oh?
goes back to playing-
I think you can go to case twenty and three
Harvey Tirippinr out on some fermented cactus Fruit juice
have understood Theatre's lesson?
I'll probably have to replay that. All I remember is my siblings thinking I was weird for applauding irl after every performance
as you may remember there were 6 plays: about the past, the present & the future.
Mind reflecting on what each play is about
Aha
@frozen pier and a bit late, but still. I'm not sure whether the tortured bird is a child
I'm even struggling to understand if it's a bird or a Mr. Bird, if you get what I mean
oh yes i do
I looked it up to make sure and it kinda looks like a baby pigeon in a way
but doesn't look like some its weird
so yeah idk either
and also if it is a baby pigeon its a pretty t
YEAH
tall one
thats what I was gonna say
okay so
after that AWFUL sliding puzzle ive beat case 23
ill play the mill tomorrow
the deer thing used to be haunting the player all across the cabin
oh the deer
i didnt understand but then i died and i understood
it wasnt difficult tho
chapter 3 was the hardest
what forms of the deer have you seen so far?
you've missed a headless deer)))))))))))))
im NOT gonna do that again soon tho
chapter 3 sliding puzzle was so difficult
anyway
im left with a lot of questions from case 23
but i think the answers are in the next games
I'll try to answer them
I'll not spoil
I guess no
and like
in chapter 1 we're at
the house
then in chapter 2 police station doesnt matter
chapter 3 is the chapel which is already rusty lake
and then chapter 4 is the cabin
and also
mr crow was like
merged from a human
is it because mr crow is a human transformed into an animal??
Crow's origin is hidden in Roots
ooooh
I've derived it before finding a big secret just by some clues
I guess there wasn't that many questions after all
Play Theatre to have a better understanding
take it easy
tbh Theatre and Birthday can be played individually without following orders
since the only connection of them to other CE games is the elevator
and the concept
Yeah ik It’s some silly idea lol
a typical thing u add in name
I just realized that all of them have a surname that starts the same
Does "boom" have a special meaning?
Like, ik that "meer" means lake and prolly hints on dale being connected to rl, but for "boom" i can only imagine aldous or william playing with explosives
from the trees
I believe
remember the family tree
Van is from
der is the
boom is tree
Oh i forgot the family symbol
mods gotta learn
Sorry my memory just makes its own choices
But is there any other relation for the surname?
I mean, i suppose the symbol came after
wdym
I dont get what u are trying to say
gasp
So in Hotel I am birb man. Harvey's really old. How did he shrink into bird form? OH was the crow that I was clicking on to summon Mr Crow really Mr Crow? Can the animal head people transform fully into animals?
gasp again
Like werewolves.
I think the name is revealed to be ironic from the devs
just like in anime
Character's names mean their persoanlity
Surnames often are related to some characteristic from the family
And i doubt the vanderbooms only were a bunch of ppl living in the jungle
????
I meant the family tree
they are from the seed
of Elixir
basically
not a jungle
there is another way of interpreting it
jungle or forest under the lake
but Vanderboom has nothing to do with it
tbh
oh gosh
here we go again
samsara
emmm
I played Samsara and yes I get the reincarnation stuff
how about u find out about it by yourself
play theatre
u will understand samsara's meaning in RL universe
and cave would help as well
Theatre for samsara explanations
Cave for some more thoughts on the transformations
And maybe bday to know how harvey "shrank" (its just an easter egg but anyway)
Mayhaps I would like to play games I haven't played before going back and having to do the same old puzzles again
yes
thats how a mod should be
great
filled with knowledge
I just dont remember the details
Here's what I remember from Theatre: the lake needs memories to continue existing and..."balance the substance of your past lives". Which again refers to reincarnation.
I was more focused on the balancing act than I was on what was being balanced, if that's where the plot lies.
tbh
I think u miss a big part of the Theatre
the last play and fish and parrot
Oh dear
they have deeper meanings
I remember feeding the parrot, fish, and plant, or something to that effect
actually, perhaps ignore fish and parrot
focus on the last one
when u put the mill colours in order
u are actually sorting out samsara
each play
represent a state of samsara tbh
Oh the wheel! I figured that was like demonstrating the 6 possible outcomes of drinking the elixir. Guess I was wrong. 🤷♀️
(even though I dont remember which stage does the lady in blue represents)
?
I am so scared
ah
I really dont want to start it over again
but nvm
here we go
;-;
I understand. You're a guy, then you're a fish-
just listen
Aight
so basically we are living in a world where soul is the only thing that matters
it is going in a loop
called samsara
Uh huh
Yes
asuras
pretas
naraka
deva
but
it is not randomly distributed
it is depending on what u have done on your previous life
if u commited many crime or behave in a terrible way, u might be animal, preta or even enter naraka
if u did good stuff
u will be human, or promoted into asura, even turn into deva
which is god
thats basically samsara
so
in RL universe
Preta is CS
Fish and parrot are animals
the woman is human
Mr Crow is Asura
no one is known for being naraka or deva yet
but it is assumable that Dale is on his way to be deva
so
isn't the forest naraka/hell
do u understand
yes
no person ig
as I said, if someone did somehting really bad
It makes more sense now
So... If Harvey was a bird-head man like Mr Crow in the late 1800s, and he's a "normal" parrot in 1960+, does that mean he died somewhere along the line and just came back as a parrot?
yes
many ppl assume that Harvey devolved
from Asura to Animal
he got killed by CS
then revived by Owl
Ah
btw, I should give an order for Samsara because it exists
Naraka<Preta<Animal<Human<Asura<Deva
from the most painful suffered ones
to the least suffered ones
mhm
thats slightly too much info
but I guess u can understand the RL universe better
with it
So...where does the elixir come in? Does it like...jumpstart the transformation?
ah yes
this is my another theory
but
have u played Roots?
Not yet
Okay then
Thanks for the lore lesson!
no problem
(I just hope that I can finish my theories project and next time I dont need to explain this again)
btw
I have a fun quesiton
I got obsessed with Gin Tonic after theatre and birthday, and I realised that it is a summer drink, but from both Birthday and Theatre, they arent summer at all
thats just a curious discovery
I have no particular theory behind it but u guys can have some approaches
bruh
I mean u are right
Dale's grandpa is kinda weird in Birthday
he likes ice alcohol in winter
(If we assume he exists in the first place)
which I highly doubt
Do harv wallbanger and bloody mary have a specific time to drink them too?
I never thought such stuff were actual things
lmao
Bloody mary is a real thing
I doubt the devs put them thinking about summer/winter, but who knows
made from a mixture of vegies I belive?
No no, i mean the summer stuff lol
if they think of having snow and making ice
they must thought of it
in Birthday
but its fine
its not a big deal
just curious detail
lmao
I believe this looks like another summer drink
I really would like to think the gin tonic was a way to relate gramps with aldous, but tbh i feel its just a common drink and the devs would put smth else to make sure
I didnt say it isnt a way
Ye ye ik, just stating my thoughts on drinks
I am just thinking that Grandpa doesnt exist in the first place
Like, fake memos?
Aldous was just there to observe Dale
like in Paradox
Grandpa never shows up
not in the minigame
or in the past mind
He might be dead way before that night
of Rabbit
Memories are biased
Hmm thats true
So, aldous would be (poorly) disguised as gramps on bday, meaning he can literally enter dale's memories with him
Or just a projection of some kind
Interesting
I think it’s projection since he must be risk free
I'm gonna play mill next
i want to follow the order
which one :з
rn both your order and the order in resources are the same
except for arles
but i played arles before you gave me your order tho :c
the next in both timelines is the mill
Talking about Mr. Crow.. in the Cave he appears as a human and has to drink the Elixir (I mean, the wrong elixir) in order to get his Asura form temporarily.. so is he debilitated like Mr. Owl? Because I don't find a reason for that really..
a reason for what?
I understand why Mr. Owl might be debilitated, but not why Mr. Crow
Before I share my thoughts could you please explain Owl's state?
Theories, of course. Maybe in 1894, in the Hotel, the souls break free, they attack Mr. Owl, but they don't kill him like Harvey, because he is way more "powerful" so they just manage to debilitate Mr. Owl
My explanation is elixir's effects wearing off
Ah, maybe maybe
I even seem to know a mechanism of that
Could you tell me please?
elixir gives true immortality as long as its particles are inside one's body in sufficient quantity
but with time they leave it via defecation
exactly because of that The Cave extract is possible
elixir particles leave the Dog's body
& they reconsume them
@azure bay ive played the mill and im gonna follow your timeline and play roots next
the official timeline says i should play birthday but im a baddie
it's not timeline. Just playthrough order
oh yes that
What did you learn so far?
Lmao the recommended play order I believe is in chronological order of released
It's fine to deviate from that
oooh
okay so what i saw from playing the mill
mr crow was once a human
that lived in the mill with presumably his wife?
that lady we feed
and also thanks to the letters we know mr owl commands him to steal other's memories and put those in the lake
i think
(she was called his wife in synopsis on instagram)
ooooh
now im wondering why do they need the memories of people
the cubes
what are they
memories??
essence???
I would rather call it extraction rather than steal
But who cares
hmmm
Memories
In the letter it said that lake needs to be balanced
Using fresh memories
ooh
it was also implied back in Seasons. When the game asks to pick your memory you technically tap on cubes
youre right
anyway
go on
@frozen pier because for me The Mill became a huge revelation that answered a ton of previously asked questions
well
for example, it explained how Laura became corrupted
OH????
and also show who was behind her body being taken from under Dale's nose
and who he spoke to while calling Rusty Lake
And how did Dale come to the Lake
Who's behind all of that in general
mr crow?
and Mr. Owl
and also when mr owl
was like
levitating the detective's body
nvm i got in a match oopsie
@frozen pier and what can you say about Hotel?
well
hotel was weird
very
i have NO clue why we killed the guests
but i do know its the detective the one that kills them
and also again, i theorise ms pigeon was experimenting on harvey from harveys box
You don't mean Dale, do you?
nah it’s confirmed that Harvey was the one you play as in hotel
WHAT
WHAT THE FUCK
I
yep
confirmed by Mr. Owl’s dialogue when you get all the room keys in the right spots, and by a flashback in CE:Birthday.
I think the goal was getting a future cube
The white one we focus on at in the ending
oh
thats very strange isnt it
cubes should be about memories
that cube can be the memories of a future mind
is there anything to be said about how flies/moths crowd peoples eyes to represent corrupted souls?
I'm not evaluating here what's strange & what's normal by IRL standarts. That's just the given reality of that universe
A part of its cosmos
there are many things RL branded
mental health institute is one of them
however, we're yet to see it in action
I think that the hotel could be a mental health centre just for covering its real clients.
HOLD UP GUYS
I discovered something
from a RL article
so, in one level of roots u can see hotel using spyglass
and u can see five guests
this happened in 1870
just a random fact or you are leading us to some conclusion?
I just looked up
to confirm
so
hotel happened in 1893
that means guests
have been there
not only once
some conclusion

tell me ur doubts
- The puzzle they are used in makes no sense outside gameplay
- this visit contradicts Owl's letter to Boar
the alternative conclusions are worse however
"just for the puzzle sake" is anticlimactic
"visions from the future" is crazy
thats why it needs theorists!
we gotta find some explanations
logic: if the scene is real, therefore the letter is fake
it can be explained in Pheasant and Rabbit's case
since they are performers
maybe Mr Deer as well, since he is into alcohol
and water of the lake
intrigues him
his research could take multiple years
yes
so does Pigeon's
the only problem is the letter
like Owl introduces to him the hotel
and its mental health services
yes
or
we can explain it as
Boar has mental problems
he cant remember stuff
drug issues
emmmm
thats debatable
since eating disorder
is not only anorexia
he might eat a lot to release stress
plus
thats pretty common among ppl in his position
memory issues wouldn't let him do his job
I just suggested it in a way
maybe it wasnt affecting him that much
until 1890s
its like dementia
gradually
meanwhile it's getting more & more far-fetched
I'd prefer the letter being 20 yo
I blame the devs for this
and exist there just for exposition sake
I have a question
maybe the rooms are for them on a regular basis
thats why it has each room has its own equipments fixed?
I don't think the devs were thinking it through that deep
thats why it puts more work on us
but I thought the time should match up when they release it
I tend to believe that the scene they show in Roots is the time in hotel
Rabbit dies in Hotel. So how did he go to Dale's party?
Also he changed color. But the white rabbit was visible through the window while the brown one was alive. And when we looked into the glass cases with cubes and corrupted souls, the white rabbit appeared. So is the white version Mr Rabbit's corrupted soul?
Also, he was a magician in Paradox, but there was no way for Dale to know that he was a magician based on the events in Birthday. This, I think, strengthens my case that the Paradox fever dream/simulation was affected by more than just Dale.
Nowhere has a dedicated theory for this
wait for it
he said Rabbit or D.E is becoming more alive
after the Asura death
or CS form
anyway @azure bay u can take it over
I'll start with the magician part rather being a retcon
btw, credibility of Birthday game isn't as high as you think
it's a memory altered from the beginning by Owl
starting with the white rabbit
there are 2 explanations in the community
- a twin
- time travel
basically, two rabbits or one rabbit
the 1st has no explanation somewhat coherent with the lore
souls aren't meant to split, neither cloning was established and also that couldn't be a random stranger
I theorize that Rabbit's CS has started its own journey to the rebirth
pretty much similar to the Dale's one
just different in details
he also travels through time & balances the substance of his past lives
it was also mentioned in his note to Dale
the problem is, rabbit in bday doesn't look that much like a CS
however, Asura wouldn't be willing to "escape his state" that much. Human also likely wouldn't + he's taken a name of a guy that would've died 100 year before
CS, however, would gladly be resurrected, following the example of William & Laura
there are also writings on the chest meaning CS in 2 languages
and a silhouette outside the window looks pretty much corrupted
returning to Rabbit's look
it was already different in the Hotel easter egg while the magician was still alive
it had whiskers unlike its counterpart in Owl's autoclave
so I assume that during its journey it was gradually regaining its body
and its mind
that's it

I seem to make everyone fall asleep
Oh
I read everything and-
Asuras are THAT powerful
what exactly are you referring to?
I'm asking if the asura stage is so good no one want to leave
What exactly they do??
in RL they are seemingly long living
and people like Eilanders or the alchemist bros want to be like them
we don't know much about them
Oo
we know a lot about Owl & Crow but their abilities could also be due to their service to the lake rather than their samsara stage
so it stays unclear
Hm
They are lake employees
I didn't knew that
What is laura
Just another Corrupted Soul?
they would be if the lake would pay them :з
I don't think her CS is a big deal
her memories are
So they do for free???
O m g
This whole thing happening in RL while the other people can't have long live 😔
Do what for free...?
I think it's safe to assume they have some income (even if that's just running the hotle / fishing / mental health services)
Mental health-
also succesful alchemists so they could just be transmuting the cash? LMAO
Anyone every get cured in RL?
I rather tend to see it as performing Special Containment Procedures & using anomalous properties for that sake
Thaumiel is an object class within the SCP universe anywya,
or wait I might just have read all of this wrong
ignore me lmao.
Thaumiel is a anomalous object that can contain/help to contain other anomalies
So (back to RL) is Laura what
¿Human?
Just a normal gorl with some bad memories
according to the recent devs' reveal, she's the lady of the lake whatever that means
just like Caroline
she was also heck a big deal in her past life
and her memories of that at least partly define her importance for Owl
have you played Roots?
Ye
then you should know that she used to be William Vanderboom in her past life
and in The Cave it was implied that his memories of creating elixir became a crucial part of the golden cube
which, I'm sure, is a new form of that elixir
Yeah
Wow
Then Dale have the elixir???? THIS IS CONFUSING ME
I CAME BECAUSE I LIKE THE CHARACTERS 😭
likely!
no one is immortal in samsara
Is Mr crow dyieng too 😭 ?
Who's imortal
no one
even gods die
at least originally at least according to some theological schools
this is the part I have question of, is the effect of prolonged life apart of the Asura or the effect of Elixir
if u observe their appearance 200 years ago and in The Cave, they still age
just slowly
according to the dog
it is the effect of Elixir
rather than....Asura stage
I tend to see other powers such as teleport and magic stuff as apart of the Asura power
Ye me 2
However, it is true that the life expectancy might increase in Asura form
So i have another approach
Since the Elixir they consumed arent perfect
still artificial
which means they cant maintain a long time in Asura form gradually after hundreds of years
therefore, they age during the gap
when they return back in human stages
but it slightly contradict with the previous Elixir theory part
I just had another thought
that may prove my Elixir theory
The appearance of Jakob has aged significantly whereas Aldous seems to be maintained in a good way
Nevertheless,
Aldous drunk it after Jakob
so
fuck
Can we just talk about that Harvey has 185 years or even more and that it's the oldest known character? Damn birdie
Where’s you get that from? Did Harvey show up in that wooly mammoth picture or something?
I just expect her to show up in that game since the devs recently declaired Harvey ancient
Ye I wouldn't b surprised either^
it
I just want to step away from the controversy
???
the damn parrot gender
I'm a simple person. I see a bird laying eggs, It's female. I see a bird wearing a man costume in 19th century, it's male
from a linguistic pov, yes
yes
