#Cocytus damage assigned incorrectly

not a bug
the bleed damage is probably being assigned to him, that's why
That is the bug, that is assigned to him and not to the other bleed characters in the team (team is made of 3 bleed heroes) but only cocytus takes credit or takes the most of it anyway
i think it's because the bleed was firstly applied by him (his passive) so the game is counting all the bleed as his own damage due to that
He is one of the last to act. First bleeds are caused by Entoma and then by Jaldabaoth. Is what I believed at first as well, that must be Cocytus's bleed over time but after many battles when on lower enemies he sometimes didn't even attack but still had highest damage in the post battle results I realised something isn't right.
I meant his passive applies bleed on all enemies at the start of the fight
so the first stack of bleed for every opponent is his
Okay fair enough, but still, he adds only 2 stacks, the other 2 bleed heroes bring it to 6 or 8. The point here is that in a bleed team, it is hard to see the progress and the correct synergy of the other 2 bleed characters next to him if the game gives him credit for most bleed. When trying to figure the game team composition, to see the progress difference after upgrading one character's skills, enchants etc if the game. Doesn't hurt for the Devs to have a looks into it anyway, let them decide if intentional or not.
While I agree, the way it was probably coded was:
Cocytus passive applies bleed stack
Entoma/Lupus/Demi add extra bleed stacks, but they stack on top on the original stack from cocytus
Bleed procs, but as the "base" stack is from Cocytus, game gives Cocytus the damage count
So it's not a "bug" but it's more of the philosophy behind the mechanic, imo
Philosophy behind something can be bugged.
It is up to the Devs to review if it is fair given my other arguments on the matter.
Another example on how the philosophy is bugged - if someone scratches your hand gently firstly with a toothpick and then someone else stabs you in the back with an axe, who is the one that deals more bleed damage?π
well true
I just want you not to have high hopes regarding this π
π I don't have hopes really but taking the step to mention it gives more chances than not saying it π
that example is not quite that great
a more proper example would be:
guy A gives you a spoiled soup and you get food poisoning, then guy B gives you poisoned medicine
maybe if guy A didn't give you food poisoning, maybe the poison from the medicine wouldn't have killed you π
Either way, I think we both made it clear. Might not be a full bug technically but a bug in some form π Funny to talk about a bug on the two bugs characters in the game π
