Hi Jonathan. Sorry for the delay. This is what our Support came up with to try and help you:
It seems that Epic is blocking your account from accessing the game. To clarify - when starting the game, your Epic user from the Epic Games Launcher gets logged in automatically which basically should always work as the login is simply passed over from the Epic Games Launcher. The error log is showing that this is not working and "AccessDenied" is returned instead. We're unsure why this happens to your account, but please check the following:
• Make sure you're using the same Epic account that also purchased the game - have that same account logged into the Epic Games Launcher when trying to start the game
• Logout from the Epic games Launcher and log back in and try again
o If this does not work, maybe even try uninstalling and reinstalling the Epic Games Launcher
• It might be the case that some Malware/Virus blocker is falsely blocking something here, but that seems unlikely. But if you have one running, please check if you see something that could be it.
Unfortunately there is not much we can do from our side as this seems to be an issue on Epics side as you get a false AccessDenied for your account.

Hello, I tried all of this and it's still not working. I think you might be using the wrong Sandbox ID in your Epic Online Services (EOS) config, might still be using the Staging version which production users won't have access to
Forwarding this immediately. If all this doesn't help, would you care for a Steam Key in the meanwhile?
Our Tech-Support told me that they changed something (else) in the backend. Could you check if it works now and get back to me?
