I should be getting my eth2gc together this week and set up sometime this week
Schtserv connection guide and their website ^
features drop rates and rules for anyone who sees this thread
you dont have to connect with schtserv as there are a few other servers to choose from
but i prefer this one as its the most active consistently for PSO on the gamecube/xbox versions
I. need. an. adapter.
but it’s too expensive for me in here it’s like $200/each
I think there’s been a third party project that’s been going on
That I’ve heard a little bit about, for a more affordable adapter
You can also play on dolphin, which may not be as appealing
But there’s some benefits to that actually. You can also transfer over your save data whenever you’re ready for physical hardware
yeah I’d try on dolphin for the meantime
Visit my shop to purchase unique Wii and GameCube products. All items are designed and manufacted by the developer behind PicoBoot, M.2 Loader and other popular projects.
You have to use Swiss in order to use those, because no game will detect them otherwise
But they will look just like a BBA to the game if you are in Swiss
I think I had seen some like this in the local market before but I’m short on money rn
There’s a guide on there for some dolphin related stuff
They developed a custom launcher and one of the benefits of dolphin is that and being able to easily patch your rom
I believe there is a GameCube only glitch of if you do not properly disconnect you lose all of your inventory that is not equipped
Which has happened to me personally and most of their server at least once
@gray timber just make sure if you do that or visit their website you don’t get confused with Blue Burst
Which is a windows only PC release that’s a completely separate version
Ty
Hi!
@spice ravine hey
I would recommend schtserv personally for gamecube
Their website is pinned above and provides guides for getting started
Not schtack?
They are the most active consistently for version 3 while also providing the same features (gamecube/xbox)
They’re the same thing
I think one is just an older name for the other
It’s existed for like 20ish years
Basically your choices are that one or Sylverant
As far as the modern features and quests implemented
Just the one I recommended above has more activity for the version you desire and it’s probably best to be consistent so people here could possibly play together if interested
So use schertv?
Really just generally advertising but it makes sense servers hosting these things have a discord alongside it
Things like insignia for halo have the same thing
I just got off halo 2 😂
I would assume it is because it’s a little rude and undermines the server
Which one is the most active?
Which with that in mind makes sense why it is a rule
For PSO schtserv by far
The website above provides a guide to connect with ur cube along with their server side rules for ingame play
Or any other device your using like dolphin, Wii, wiiu
Even Xbox
I assume people linking their own discords is a huge spam/self promotion issue
I’ve never played before so looking forward to it!
100%
It’s very fun and their community is very welcoming and helpful
In my own experience being a new player this past month
I’ve been trying to get people here to play lowkey lol
It’s been more fun than I thought lol
I feel like finally going online has unlocked like 2/3 of the game
I’ll play! 😂
Let’s gooo
Wanna tonight?
Probably not
Sorry working and then mediating for my family lol
Little TMI but it’s been busy
I might hop on for a little bit before bed. No promises @spice ravine
If you see me my main character I’ve been leveling is a RAmar called “Space Marine” I think lvl 84 rn?
I would also recommend playing some of the offline quests
I know that’s a little boring but it’s easier to level and the quests will give you good equip-able starting items
Enemies also do I think 30% less damage offline?
i should focus on grinding early pso reeee
Yes
@vestal shoal once you unlock hard
And then very hard difficulty online it will be a lot easier for me to help you get levels
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus ?
either one works
plus is a little bit of an upgraded version but saves work for both
it has some bug fixes and brings some official online quests offline
Would it be bad for me to start it as a force character?
nah but it is definitely harder early game
forces are pretty valuable for higher level play or on teams
Ok I created my character, should I play episode one or two to start?
