Hi, i just finished freshman year, and am planning on actually starting applying to jobs during the summer and next year. How does the resume look?

Heres my github for some photos of the projects https://github.com/Rhkellz

Also, any tips for applying or interview prep besides the more general CS stuff? (Whenever I search up graphics programmer, 3D graphics, graphics engineer I get so many graphic design results)

Thanks so much for the help!

4 -- SIGGRAPH looks weird. were they four SIGGRAPH members, or is "SIGGRAPH" the start of a new independent clause?

ah thats the name of the uni, we have a student siggraph chapter

also, generally you should write the number word for numbers less than ten

#

ah it's redaction

#

your resume looks excellent. I can't find much else to say about it

#

I guess consider putting periods at the end of the bullet points since they're (nearly) full sentences

#

alright, thanks for taking a look

#

Oh also, do you think I should try to get all the HS stuff off by end of the summer?

it's relevant stuff and not obvious that it's from high school, so I'd say there's little pressure to remove it

#

the only potentially irrelevant thing is the life guard job, but it shows that you can hold one

#

for someone going into their sophomore year, your resume is pretty packed as it is

#

most people have a fraction (or none) of the relevant projects at that stage

Cool

#

atleast for me, its so easy to get lost looking at what people are doing online and all those graphs of people getting ghosted after 500 applications and start feeling the pressure haha

#

anyways have a good day

but also as an undergrad your odds are automatically lowered

yeah

so my suggestion is to lower your expectations and stop looking at forums containing job-seeking people because it's just depressing

Bro stuff like r/csmajors is really bad

yeah I was just about to name that one. those subreddits are terrible because they naturally filter out people who have jobs
