ah another thing could be, that this role cannot be self added/removed
only mods can give it and take it, and once you have it, you need to wait at least a week to have it removed
report-spam and suggestions are the only channels on top of my head which should still writable for administrative reasons
I am experiencing a very light version of this right now, since Last-Warning doesnt allow you to write in general/bikeshed/offtopic (and its threads unfortunately, i would still like to be able to respond in #1180899848191488030 but it is what it is)
small hint, you can still click on existing reacts, thats fine i guess since it cant be prohibited
perhaps a small announcement could be done too once you install this role 🙂

Ok, we have something set up and configured for this now. You get read access as normal but can only write to Community Content and Server folder channels.

the only cost is getting the people inside your server to trust the custom bot
which means trusting you and the mods
which in the failure of such, you were probably fucked long ago

idea is/was to adjust it to be used here as well
