typically they advertise annual tuition for full-time enrollment if that's the question
oh awesome
how can I earn some money while at collage?
if its full time that means I cannot do any jobs right? Since collage would be all day and all week?
If you're international you probably can't work off campus due to laws. But university classes are relatively sparse. I did 150% for years and only spent 2 or 3 hours a day in class - but that's once you're past the first year or so I'd guess
You can work campus jobs for min wage + a bit
Those are very flexible and understand that you're a student first
if you're studying something CSy you can get plenty of side gigs
I am currently in year 11 in the UK going to go off to LA to become an Police Officer once I finish school so ill continue any school work there
sounds expensive lol
Yeah lol thankfully as a rookie ill be earning 6k a month then as an officer ill make more
i hope you dont go there JUST because of pay
Oh hell of course not but this questions more about finance so im trying to keep it related to that
eh
hang on
why are you trying to study there just to go to the police afterwards?
Because you need 2-4y in collage to even apply for the LAPD academy
this is the main educational factor of it but since I'd be working for the LAPD I dont want to move and then apply I want to be there for a bit then apply since I will need to figure out houses etc and settle in
ye the 2nd part states, that you dont have to go bankrupt in the us before joining the police
average collage pay is what 24k anual?
and why are you asking all this on a graphics programming related discord server?
im not im asking this in a career advice channel
I have to admit I answered assuming you were trying to figure out how to get into graphics not LAPD lol
same
Lol i already got graphics gcses etc
I mainly just want to know about collage in the usa nothing else ngl
how much the average college is, if its anual or monthly etc
I know
you better join an expat forum and ask there
Expat?
An expatriate (often shortened to expat) is a person who resides outside their native country.
Uh okay thats a new one
You'd get relevant advice at least
plus all the other information around all that school stuff.. cost of living/housing etc
The average cost of attendance for a student living on campus at a public 4-year in-state institution is $26,027 per year or $104,108 over 4 years.
alright
idk if I should move to LA for my last year of UK school lol
probably not
but you do what you want
With 50 states and an area size of nearly 4 million square miles (nearly 10 million km²) that covers a massive swath of North America, the United States is a country as diverse as it is enormous.
