Essentially a teleporter for yourself, and items wirelessly. To balance would probably take a nether star or something else. Spawns without a lock initially, can be locked and pin set like normal. Evades rift stabilizer or whatever it was called so this still works. Could also be used as an entry vector for people to get into a base if you can somehow place it inside, through a small hole you can't normally fit through.

I know there are many teleportation mods out there. I'm wondering if something like this belongs in a security mod or not?

It should tp only the owner or people on the allow list or else it will not be secure.

I am only okay with this if the teleportation does not allow you to take or send items through the teleport. As in, you cannot have anything in your inventory. If you do it’s either dropped or maybe stored if it has a module or something. That way it is strictly secure transportation

Reutilize signature system? No need to have a whole new. item to do one small thing unless it also acted as a remote access tool and could manage them remotely

Yeah, I agree. It's a more secure method of transportation, but the security aspect is basically a bonus compared to insane speed and efficiency.
