So they are.
Probably because the two stacks don't add up to 10 then. Just another annoying problem in game.

The whole stacking thing is a great time saver, but has issues.

What’s annoying is that it’s the only core that doesn’t stack up to 10 even though it has 9 and 6. The other cores will auto stack into 10 regardless of amount :/

Make a ticket to support and ask them why it doesn't work.

I think it might be because it’s the “Maximal” Disc and the other stack is the “Predacon” Disc
