I only see that it's supposed to be +20%. Not very clear as to how much loyalty you get. Hopefully they make it more clear.

4000 coins and xp from in-game shop. So +20% 4800 from the store.

When you purchase something your Loyalty currency will decrease by that amount. 4800 - 1000 = 3800. Is your total Loyalty score still 4800? That should only increase.

I received 3800 loyalty XP & 4800 loyalty coins. I spent 1000 coins, the XP didn’t decrease.

The first 1000 xp is to go from level 0-1 the xp amount starts at 0 when you reach a new level so therefore first 1000 took you to level 1, the remaining 3860 is your xp going up to level 2.
