Just be aware that Val's design makes it very easy for AoR bots to wipe out large clusters of your defenses.
Maybe you're okay with that. Just something to consider

I mean, you're in a fairly tough time at the game. Players with developing titans are going to target you in pvp battles and not much you can do about that. For now I'd focus on getting to hq16 and building a combiner lab. (Those unlock at 16, right?) Combiners won't help against titans but can make your base tougher in wars
I favor symmetrical layouts. Mix resource buildings with defenses. Don't use walls as barriers; use them as guides to path enemy bots towards kill zones.
At 15-16 he'll be fighting titans against which he can't win either way. And I personally had good winrate back then when I wasn't up against titans that would curbstomp by base. I'll have to dig up screenshots of my win rate.
Besides, you can't make a proper base until 17-18 and then I have outstanding success with this rush trap design

I’m currently rolling with this design as the one you had provided was hq 16 and I’m at 14 so I don’t have many of hose defenses so I am using this for the time being
That base har defenses of HQ15 and was just newly made HQ16
Also managed to dig out winrate from back then
