Titan skill points not added

I have 51 titan skill points saved up and just earned another 3k titan xp. I should now have 54 skill points, but it's still 51. I haven't seen any cap specified anywhere. Can I get those three points back and should I bother saving more?

@steep zodiac I already bought everything except the FM specific skills since he's only 15 and 3*. @solid ember Tech tree level is 170 and been that way for a long time while saving points.

Saving them for if they release new skills that are worth buying.

I haven’t seen anything about a cap, possibly if your total point amount (spent and unspent together) has reached some form of cap…?

You could always try assigning a few point to Max and see what happens next time?

They put a cap on the tech tree so people wouldn't be able to unlock all the new perks at once when they get released

Thanks, I saw that message but they didn't give an exact date and haven't said anything since, like, "hey it's live now." Frustrating if they just "turned it on" silently.

I would have spent points before earning 3 that just get "lost."

My next question is, what is the actual cap on skill points you can bank? Tech tree is 170, but how many points can you bank? I currently have 51, so if I spend 3, can I gain 3 back?

Some real communication on this would be fantastic.

Sounds like tech 170 with 20 banked is the cap, if you've bought everything so far. That brings me to the next problem. I have 32 points of skills available to buy. 51-32=19. The game is blocking me from earning that last point...

Try checking if there's any perks u haven't maxed yet. Far as my tree goes, 20 is the leftover you get after everything unlocked

Yes, that's what I said. I have 32 skills I can buy, because I haven't maxed them. I don't use them. 32 + 20 = 52. I currently have 51 points banked, meaning I'm missing one.
