the answer is no, glove mode (or increase touch sensitivity) simply reduce the threshold require to detect a disruption in the screen's electromagnetic field (that is caused by a conductive material, i.e your finger) or increase the strength of said field to protrude through non conductive material (screen protector or glove)

this is all on hardware and have no impact to software induced input lag
