#The animation of the followpoint does not match osu standard animation
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
After pasting this to skin.json animation framerate on Mathi skin and this is what happened to the skin
You were missing a comma after ComboScoreOverlap
I'm not sure what you mean by that
Umm so if you try the debugged osudroid try pasting a animated followpoint and compare the animation between osudroid vs osu!standard
the animation is fine 2 me
The animation of the followpoint does not match osu standard animation
Hope to fix this animation issue and matches the animation
hm maybe OP meant the animated follow points appears later than osu!lazer follow points?
I will investigate this, thanks for reporting
What does OP meant
But yeah you got a point
Here a smoother vid and take a look of osulazer followpoint mechanics
In osudroid sometimes the followpoint suddenly fades in slow gameplay map
And the same beatmap but osudroid
The OP tag indicates you are the person who made this thread
Thanks. I hope the devs will fix this issue
This appears to be an issue with the length of your follow point texture
Length?
And how to fix it?
The animation still hasn't matched osulazer followpoint mechanics in this last testing client
If you read the changelog, nowhere did I say that follow points were changed
@rotund saddle
Oh yeah I'm sorry it's just I'm too excited to play with this newly changed osudroid with animation
I'm really sorry
We're working to achieve that, thanks for your patience and sorry for the wait
This was my problem goodluck to the devs achieving that followpoint mechanics
It's super messey on fast jump maps
Does the latest test client not solve this problem?
When maps go fast like jump maps follow point become messy and hard to read for someone liek who relies on it
The old is way more readable
They dissappear slower
I starter using the 6x6 followpoint becoz it's kinda clean
Using 120x15 followpoint is messy
I was able to observe the same problem, but not in the latest test client. I'll check again
I'll record and compare to the old followpoints mechanics
You don't need to. I found out why it's different
Yea the gaps when its small
Reducing the gaps would make it smoother i think for linger followpoints
Maybe not that. But the texture is supposed to be cropped to 128x64 osu!pixels
I see
