#UI scale?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
A big challenge in adding a UI scale setting with how things are setup right now is that some elements are positioned absolutely instead of relatively, and they will be screwed up by the setting
I see. Thanks for the explanation!
As for the ranking screen, I noticed that when using certain skins, the elements overlap or get misaligned, especially when the ranking letters (like SS, S, A) are shown. It could be because the UI doesn't fully support the variety of skin designs, making it look a bit off. I'm not sure if it's related to how the elements are coded or placed, but it would be great if this could be improved for smoother skin support. Just wanted to share that without being too pushy!
Skins are tricky to deal with because the creator can set the size at anything they want
But the default skin itself suffers from the same problem, so...
This one is from opsu! I think you guys can fix the issue by scaling down the UI a bit just like this, and put the back button on the bottom-left corner just like on the menu.
I used the same skin on osu!droid, and you can clearly see the difference here.
you can just re-scale the ui by yourself using third-party paint apps like Ibis Paint X
i always use it to re-scale when i port the skin
especially the large ranking images like that SS
might takes you a lot of time but it worths it
and as well correcting me if i misunderstand this
But that's the default SS element, and it's inside the apk. I already tried doing that and replacing the files using APK Editor Pro for signing, but I couldn't login to the server.
It would be easy if I have a PC, but sadly, I don't
You dont need a pc to do this
You can do it all from your phone
And that element is skinnable
true
bro even think of editing inside the game's resources
Lmao I'm desperate
Yeah, I know but look at the photos
Can't you use a skin?
i bet its @2x
Wait, I'll check
Yeah no
I actually got it working, but it's a mess
look for ranking-x.png
I did it by replacing the default element itself inside the .apk file, so that explains the 2 replay button lol.
And there comes my next problem. It's misaligned. I know it's not a big problem, but I'm kind of a perfectionist.
always
i thought it normally be used as ranking-X rather than ranking-x
