Can anyone tell me what is dsp, is it different driver from original chu 2 or is it just the wire
You get a dsp that's basically built in equalizer inside the cable
That's all
So basically yeah
It's only the wire
I thought its different driver for a sec
Between castor, zsn pro x and chu 2 which one is better
both of the mentioned kz should have a better fit to most ears
and thats about it
if you want something more easy going to listen
go for the chu
(filters are horrible)
How about sound?
What filters?
gotta keep your ears dry most of the time
or the chu's filter will get some moisture
and cause the channel inbalance
also potential oxidation issue
@brave sonnet am i seeing thing?
My reaction when kz beat $200iem
Would recommend getting the dsp
castor bass
chu 2 are like mini cadenza and its mid
zsn pro x is also mid
and old
real
Me when bass bleed
your preference blinded your eyes man
Is the oxidation on the wire or is it on the iem
Can i change it or just remove it altogether?
can change, but the filters is costly
most likely 1/3 of iems price
so i would recommend something a lil bit more expensive
but more durable
but if your budget is like
$20
those are prolly your only choices
on the iem unfortunately
it happened to my chu 1
you havent seen shit bout the "endgame" term
if the "chu chu" is kinda bad for a daily wife beater
i would rec a pair of wan er
vocal on those are pretty decent
or if you can stretch to some kind of
30 bucks
cadenza
What if i just remove it
there would be a chance that
your sweat from your ears
would make a way into the driver
and thats a gg
if youre not that sweaty
its alright
but the treble can be piercing
to some people
"chu chu" is indeed the wife beating, budget breaking iem of all time
yep
need some maintain
but its cool
and more
"easy going" tuning than the chu og
also detachable cable
i wonder why they didnt give the chu 1 detachable cable instead
This thing died exactly 10 months after buying
The left side is still okay-ish, it sometimes stop working. The wire inside died
seems like not, only audio balance issue if you let too much moisture into it
What if you dry it with hair blower
dont, just replace the filters
or just keep the iem dry
one tip is to put it in a iem case with a desiccant package when not use
What about zsn pro2, how good is it compares to others

Unboxing rรกpido do recรฉm lanรงado Moondrop Moca.
Segundo a prรณpria fabricante, o upgrade ideal para o Moondrop Space Travel.
Nรฃo perca o review em breve!
where are all the moondrop moca reviews ๐
this is the only video i've seen
but tbf, this was uploaded like today
Should speak for itself ๐ง
i mean, prop for being honest i guess

but from the box alone im pretty sure its just a bargain bin wireless headset that barely work
Context : my friend refused to buy/try an iem. His parents gave him the cheapest iem. Suddenly he wanna buy Tangzu
God i love this community

Also i need usb c to 3.5mm adapter tbh
Can yall recommend me some ๐ฟ
any dongle should work tbf
I'm wondering about getting this
Its just the 3.5mm adapter with DAC sounds gimmicky to me

But samsung phones need that specific adapter ๐ฟ
Hm
you can do some blind buy
since the app youre looking is shopee
the return policy is somewhat easy
Im just gonna play safe tbh
Since idk if redmi devices also have this shit
people here will just gonna smack me since my recommends are usually overkill
๐๏ธ
Since that happens on Samsung flagships
Ion even ๐ฟ
Fuck it.. Audiophile 3.5mm adapter
๐คซ
literally any dongle would work
not gonna lie
some $5 would
and the c-to-3.5 is not that picky
@fleet fulcrum is this just another gimmick or what ๐ฟ
A dac on adapter
plugging both a charger and headphone jack is always unsettling to me
this is a genuine question
but are the normal earphones the same as iems?
like this one
nah, iems are earphones with tips (usually silicon) that go inside your ear canal
like this one
Earplugs
Meanwhile my lil sis insults my iem looking like hearing aids
Man
moondrop aria user:
Audio tomfoolery
i thought they're the same thing
since
"in-ear"
just iem sounds more sophisticated
the normal one just sits outside of your ear canal
also the seal of normal ones is usually pretty bad
the diff between earbuds and in ear
some kind of razer hammerhead
could also be called iem
both of these
are "iem"
if you wanna call like that
just consider iems are the thingy that should be pushed inside your ear canal
and the others sit outside
basically the tips is the most most significant difference
if the earphones have tips, its an iem
same with earbuds btw
so it is iem as well
ig the term iem is more familiar with the one in this thread
earphones are fine
but iems sound more
idk
science?
kekw
technical
yeah normally better in term of sound quality
that wild comparison
trash vs 64audio LOLOL
bro gonna whip out campfire audio and compare it to fucking kz
i do have some bold predictions eh
better save that for my bets
kz prx gonna beat every iem out there
it combine the best of both world
kz from audio
prx from valo
fr
ok it does look like the variation wth
leak btw
id that the artwork or the album
yes
iirc the variation itself is already pretty pricey
yep 400 bucks ish
slap a skin on it and you bet your ass it will be like 600+
well f it's ~$500
price varied, the iem itself is already 3 years old
What
Oh damn I thought it was wireless lmao
naw mate

its copper all the way
I mean the spacetravel is good enough
yeah but the robin is an earbud
or whatever snake oil they try to sell
@dull wind the bud is detached with the wire
ig they're catering for the masses
This kinda misleads me lmao
wait nvm
Ffs who would've use the iem w/o cable
its really is a bud
i guess it's just the modified version of variations?
What
yea they will modify the housing for wireless
the robin collab is wireless
the robin one is wireless
you can see the charging cradle
At least the selling point is wireless not just completely reskin
yeah
The robin tws is 80 usd
you can get an airpod and a fucking iphone case for less
but mehh
wait nvm
i don't like that version of buds
$80 is kinda cheap
the one with the short tail
meh even the casing is diff
Would it land on audiophile recommendation?
Idrk if audiophile really care ab aesthetic
Since most of them care more ab fitting lmao
And weight
eh yea
friendly reminder that this is consider the "best iem under 100 bucks"
aethestic my ass they wouldnt even care if their iem will violate their earlobe as long as the music is "in their head"
better basss momento

P.s.a avoid "gaming" earphones, shit is just scam and not worth it
Especially cheap ones
flashy rgb and quirky design wont make you better at any game

(gaming gloves and socks will tho)
There alr official price
80-85$

I wish the collab was an IEM btw
U cant really implement voice pack in iem
tws is cool but only the fact that I'm being a lazy ass who forgot to charge the thing

Half of the collab audio stuff is a meme
Take example
Suisei collab iem and headphone
Both r just garbage
Marketing toward specific audience
Basically

A 250 dollar voicepack
wow I cannot believe I actually be able to pull something out from the class that I never pay attention to
Huh
I mean this

the average people would have preferred tws anyway
a headphone would be fine but then again you won't be seeing Robin using them
can't deny
oof
what the hellll
man my space travels is kinda annoying me a bit
sometimes my right earbud would desync, triggering anc from the left earbud would bring the audio back in the right earbud
but then if i press the right earbud instead, it said power off and then audio comes back??
oh and I didn't know Holo en had a collab with aviot
Pre order though
600rm voicepack
you can roast her by saying, oh these are what your favorite singers use on concert

dunno about her but
id rather use the so called hearing aids than listen to my shit with a pair of earphones so ass whatever it outputs is equivalent to burning trash if it was audible

Can someone give a thought on Moondrop Lan
wow my dongle already killed my EQ setting

let it die lol
anyway
i can now really enjoy what that quad dac have to offer
and tbh, not much
the amp is plenty strong though
i mean u driving an aria so it doesnt need much lol
blud is bouta tell people to buy a dongle that can drive a whole ass tank
to drive a single dd
bro is so me wtf
U need a dedicated preamp
also clean electricity
your local stuff wont give you the purest sound
Got moondrop chu2
Pro : Sounds good, just a little less treble and rumble isn't as prevalent with original filter but everything sounds cleaner and crisp especially highs and mids. Bass is also crisp, no compressed or fracturing like sound. No complain for sound.
Cons : left and right ear balance sometimes become uneven because of the 3.5mm cable it came with, devices that can't fully utilize it, and the filter being easily clogged (I changed mine with my old kz zsn pro x and gain a little more cleaner rumble and treble than with the original filter). The bore also causes condensation on the tip of the iem where the filter is, causing water droplets to form and clogging the filter. The bore also become discolored after days of use from new because of the condensation causing oxidation happening with the copper plate. There's also a grounding problem, if your devices has terrible grounding you'll hear and can get electrocuted from using it as opposed to other iem using resin or plastic(I can feel and hear my ears getting electrocuted connecting with my laptop while having my foot touching the ground)
Overall its great, just wish they use gold plated or use different material for the bore, and the metal encasing isn't as electrically conducting.
How long you've been using before it became imbalance
3 day
More or less
Don't worry just clean the filter often and dry the iem out, that's usually how i solve it
I use it for close to a month now
My place is just too humid for it
Trying cheap earbuds
Idk i just bought blindly
Does someone know best eartips for boost treble under Rp100k? In frame: Moondrop Chu 2 paired with KBEAR 8 Core cable

alright lad i need a recommendation for a wired (usb or audio jack) speaker to snuck beneath my computer monitor
budget is below 40 bucks

Redmi TV Soundbar

he guessed 200 while it only costs 30
insane value

True
This?
Also depend on your room btw
hmm, sure
a bit spooked due to the price is all over the place here

Man I'm having this one good deal second hand kiwi ears cadenza for $17 but the problem is the seller hasn't sent me a vid that it worked
Forget ab it
He won't send the vid saying too much of work
Fucking red flag from me
I need recommendation for warm bright sounding iem around 20-40 dollars
yep
I'm sincerely recommending this as my own redmi sound bar has served me well for at least 3 years
so much so that the 3.5mm cable wore out and I had to replace it lol
double down and get the ew300
Idk man I'm sure it's good but really I don't have that much money to buy it
I was hoping for a recommendation more like tin c2 rather than that expensive xd
And don't think it's worth it in the long run since I'm not that deep into audiophile
Increase ur budget by a bit and get the pilgrims
Bro thinks I can afford to buy pilgrims when I can't even afford a new laptop
Ah icic
Mk2?
A safe pick yeah
Bt fr
Kiwi ear cadenz
Sound nice tho
It warm tho
I asked some people they said cadenz is downgrade from Chu 2
Either sidegrade or downgrade
Tbf I'm fine buying cadenz full price if it's at least sidegrade but someone saying it was a down grade made me think twice xd

Sennheiser HD 350BT: Will 2020 standard stands up today?
Price: $99 (old price, you can get it for like 60-ish)
My 1st headphones review, so take it easy on me ><
Whats in the box: The most barebone set you could possibly get. The 350BT itself, a A-to-C cable and some paper thingy.
Doesnt come with a storage bag but for the price, its okay.
Fit: comfy for me, no pressure at all, but people with big chungus head like me should note this: The set is on the smaller side of fullsize headphones, so keep that in mind.
Build: Made from plastic but feels firm enough to me.
Earpads is pretty decent actually.
Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.0. Once paired, it will connect to your device within 5 seconds, pretty fast.
Source n Music files: Since its a bluetooth pair, we can just skip this
(BTW it supports SBC/AAC/APTX (LL), solid for the price)
((But no analog support tho))
Soundstage: feels wide, but a little bit cramped for live orchestra tracks.
Sufficient for most genres
Bass: Thank god its not the thumpy-thump type of bass you could find in $5 thrift store. Its smooth enough, but the decay is somehow a little bit slow for me, so fast-paced tracks cant really shine on this set.
Mid: A little bit dark for my taste, especially for male vocals, such as Frank Sinatra or Hamilton (no hes not "that" F1 driver).
But on the other side, female vocals are decent, a little bit too "forward". Reminds me of the Moondrop Para.
Treble: Nothing too special, its smooth, its there, no peak is spotted by me. Not that sparkle, but I personally like that easy-going sound signature.
Since its Bluetooth thingy, Ill talk about the companion app as well.
Android/iOS
Basic EQ (Bass/Mid/Treble), its okay for something that is mainstream like Sennheiser, but if you want to deep EQ, you might find this app a little bit trash tbh
But you somehow have to download the app at least once. When i connect my set and open the app, the 1st thing I see is a firmware update.
Pros: Comfy fit
Cheap enough to be my daily beater
Easy going tuning, suit for most genres
(but nothing special or stands out tbf)
APTX support
Fast connection
Cons: No analog support
The most barebone packaging on earth
All of the buttons are placed on right cup, so extra study should be done
internet image, will take my own pic later
How much would you pay for that quality
Rn idk to save up for iem or bluetooth headphone
for this set?
i paid like
65 bucks
(i love shopee)
pretty decent set if you ask me
some side notes that i forgor to mention
battery life is decent, i got like 35 hours for a single charge
no such thing as game mode, gotta borrow a friends phone since ive changed to an iphone
genres that will suit this set: anything that is chilling, not too boom ca lak ca lak
would recommend this set if you listen to female vocals, asmr, ambient and podcast
but not for deep tone male vocals
it actually depends on your needs
i myself has a pair of aria og
both of 'em has that fucking paint chip issue
drives me crazy

Lmaooo
One of friends actually recommends me this lol
Audio technica bt headphones tho I never touched any of their items b4
showing the link won't help
audio techica tuning should have some sibilance with upper mid
no matter the price
so keep that in mind
I know
I've dealt with one before and now I've built a resistance against it lol
aria 2 is wireless?
what the sigma

Would've been funny if aria 2 was wireless tho
get some adapter
Wait
(no not the kz)
Can you fold it?
it can fold
The audio technica one can't lmao
Idk why my friend brought that headphone daoly
if people have their desk setup
my personally wouldnt rec the audio technica tho
kek
Idk how much I would offend the audiophile community by using aria 2 with this
my default rec is beyer

brother

UWOHHHH
I actually wanted to buy that
Since 0,78mm is expensive
I mean my driver isn't even worth it for littleblack or something
Since it's only a chu2
imo
should upgrade your iems before buying accessories
ive seen a friend of mine
get some extremely expensive eartips for his quarks
quarks
I mean I'm only gonna buy like Sancai and tripowin zombur(?) or grace something
The cable is ass
release some pressure for your ears
My eyes hurts looking white cable
im using those for my orchestra lite
All of them is only like below $20?
sancai should be below
NVM
I mean the eartips isn't that expensive
The cable is kinda
It's 13 dolars
My iem is only 18
you gotta listen to me
Could've bought it for 14 lol
buy that 2000 dollars cable
Wtf
Nahhhh
I ain't gonna fall for that
one of the greatest placebo on earth
so here is the part where @fleet fulcrum being an idiot
the soundbar arrived
looks good, sound good, via Bluetooth that is
due to my pc have a chronic case of poor bluetooth connection, i pretty much expect to wire this thing up
lo and behold what the fuck is this cable
there is nothing like that on my motherboard
or my monitor
the manual mention spdif but spdif is nothing like this
pretty sure its rca
i tried to plug a spare 3.5 mm jack to the other hole but only getting sound out on 1 side of the speaker
line out is occupied by my headphone
the bottom port being covered by the cable is mic in
nvm im dumb its my other monitor playing sound
fr how the fuck do i connect the speaker with wire
ok finally connected
i need to press a button to change source to aux
thanks chinese manual

entanglement is real

Bro aint batman
after test it for a bit, it sound nice, better than any pc speaker set i heard (not that it was a high bar) but thanks for the recommendation
ayyy glad you like it
and about the spdif thing yeah I tried to dig around that as well
but it's quite complication
basically the spdif on your PC's motherboard is optical, but the spdif on the soundbar is analog
so you need a unit in between two cables, like a DSP to convert the optical signal to an analog signal, and then you can use a different type of cable to plug into the sound bar
which is WAY too much trouble
so yeah the best way is to the 3.5mm into the back of your PC or to the back of a monitor
and I connect my headphones to my PC's front panel audio instead
The headband is kinda understandable
so is the 2000 bucks cable
get yours today
!!!
Nah 2k cable is more of placebo effect for me
Headband is comfort
And "god, this upper treble is shit" is basically me trying kz iem
As long I don't cross the diminishing return line it should be fine
And Iem surely do help for my listening exams
The teachers here really like choosing shitty audio
and surprisingly
now i cant really hear some of the simgot
upper treble is kinda ass
Need new iem 20$ max
my chu 2 suddenly sound smaller on the right side
im cooked
cadenza
its like default option rn
1 or 2 bucks more
but can run for long
Funny thing is i just clean it and now it suddenly smaller on the left instead
Great iem
Lmao I once had that
But funnily enough it was due to my ears
Pressing too much made one of my ears receive less
Someone recommended me tin c2 instead of cadenza
Not the 2025
And cheaper tho by a few bucks
@patent bronze
tin c2 is made from metal iirc
so a source that is connected firmly is needed
at least not from a pc that is wired poorly
otherwise
its decent
I mean c2 is an all rounder with good tonality
Also cheaper than cadenza
Tho I don't really know how impactful what you meant
Ah hell naw, so when did you buy it ?
Ur message just a bit scared me bro
Mine just arrived today
like 6 months ago
but that cuz i barely clean it
aight I gonna take care of it
Bruh
@patent bronze you could buy new filters
But fucking 100k

Just change the filter layer
You need to remove it from the mesh filter
You can use mask filter layer to change the filter layer if you're really on budget
I change mine entirely with different iem filter to get better treble and rumble and it fixed the balance issue
It goes out of balance because the chu2 is prone to water condensing on the tip of the bore
Same
ERM ACTUALLY
rich
oh my god
Iem gore but yeah
oh jesus me
Annihilator 2023
The timbre sounds natural
Would've been better if I brought my own eartips
the port is going inside the thing I can't do shit
๐
I can't believe I broke 3 things that are audio related this month
Rip
The design isn't as complex as others
For design I think thieaudio is the best one
But true lmaooo
I think kiwi cadenza and celest wyvern have good designs
thinking of getting chu
Chu2 is nice but I recommend you buy it with tangzu Sanchai wide bore
If you don't want the vocal to sink
got a question is it that bad without using the samchai eartips
Bad if you're going for treble and vocal
It's the complete opposite
But the driver itself is nice tho
Chu isn't even expensive
An sancai is $2-$3
Also today's 12.12 I hope that clears your day
always pushing people to get through that $50 barrier
like
besides the audio quality stuff
the more expensive the stuff
the more you have to "not break it"

thats a terrible justification
you kinda have to be aware that "people" are fine with 2 dollars flea market bud that will break after 1 month
it will break after 1 month but thats also their base value proposition
recommending even "ultra budget" (sub 20 bucks) iem is already a tall ask
like so
@cerulean ridge welp i need it
Speaker
Oh
Current one kinda bad
Also go buy sancai wideboar
Bruh
You won't need eq anymore
I don't have any money
Bruh
It's only 45k but okay xd
Maybe next month
I have a meetup with o!d th player on that day
now I have to find a way to fix sensitive volume button
Yeah I kinda like it because of that xd
Luna???
that looks niceee
btw what cable is that
Why do I see that cable as a hdmi cable lmao
Aria cable
Bundle it with this https://www.effectaudio.com/cleopatra-ii-octa?srsltid=AfmBOopbvskbIzG9E0KImWzBpUiQMUzibyCPL4td_1WiGh5AGZ1KERxIerE
Bruh
My 8yo bro gave me this as a spare iem since I always forgot where i put mine
I'm dying
Njce
$1799 cable??????
Huh?

The custom cable i had so far only cost at $10
Smh
Idrk much ab dac but rn I'm tryna save for moondrop dawn pro
After buying new iemm ofc
the left side of my moondrop space travel buds refuses to be charged, awesome

is this shi cooked or nah
hey we're best buds now
:DDD
can you actually look inside where the charger pin connector is stuck inside or not
hang on lemme try
yikes still cooked
battery level of that side also seems to be inconsistent too
what the hell
well since it's not charging then it's pretty obvious
it actually when from 30% to 40% while outside of the case tho

only for a short while but still
upgrade to golden ages
Haven't tried it
Idk if it's good or nah
But judging by the prices it seems good
๐

Thanks

What are y'all thoughts about the tanchjim bunny?
Since I might the DSP ver
Get*
Its pretty popular
Really popular
Basically fuck everything else, get tanchjim bunny
It has warm profile
n kinda balance-ish, not really recommend for bassheads
Ppl usually change the eartips tho
thank u
I'm probably just going to reuse my moondrop spring tips ๐
I recently bough an Artti t10, and this, is definitely, by far. the best experience I ever had with audio, I don't have much to compare it to though, but still bear with me fr no cap these are lit. The first thing I noticed after properly setting these up is that, damn, the soundstage is HUGE, it is way wider than my buds 2 pro, I didn't even though that something like that would even be possible to be achieved in an IEM form factor, these could create a soundstage that I couldn't find in one of the most expensive headphones I ever tried (Kuba Disco 2 pro, it had an awful channel imbalance so i had to gave up on it), it made me realize how much I actually love the "iem" sound, specially with a huge soundstage like that, I can perceive thints near me, just aswell as minor hints of instruments that are barely noticeable on normal headphones since they are so subtle, and get hidden away by the more "open" nature of the sound. Also, another thing that impressed me on these is that the bass, is actually noticeable, and it gives kind of that "subwoofer" bass feel, but on a IEM, my two pros can't replicate such thing, they lack on this aspect, this applies aswell for the subbass, you can notice that "punch". Another thing that I wasn't expecting at all, sincd all the fearmongering that is thrown around planars and energy hungriness, is how easy these are to drive, for real. my cx31993 was enough to make these shine, I could actually get myself deaf with these if I wanted.
Not a very technical review. Just me showing how impressed I am, since this is my best experience with audio as of now. These little things for sure add up on each track that I enjoy with these baddies on. Totally worth every cent expent on it, even if I bought it after their prices have increased a lot
people say the t10 sounds a bit different than the s12 and s12 pro
even though i think they have the same planar driver
Acoustic feature diff
can you guys actually tell a difference between 192kbps and 320kbps lossless audio?
when listening to them?
Not really
i could for sure tell the difference between 96 and 192, but 192 to 320 not so much
@dull wind 192 is fine for average consumer
you lose detail on very high frequency
feel free to listen to these demo to see if you can tell a difference
Pretty good combination after few weeks ๐ฅ
Ew200 got the bright profile which suitable w/ my playlist that's full of female vocal. Tempotec makes it warmer so it could be even more versatile cuz somehow i feel lil bit dizzy using EW200 without DAC when mapping lmfao, i think repeating certain part over and over plays a factor while also being important.
At first i didn't even think about buying DAC, but after tried it with shanling ua4 and damn bruh the soundstage is just so fkin good which push me to buy DAC.
If we talking like 196 vs 320 mp3 kinda
The 256 320
Mostly by luck

yep totally can't differentiate either
My pin broke inside
Man
Fuck me
I could buy new female and cable
But soldering this while I have vision problems couldn't be more shit
Gg

need an iem recommendations under 150$ that has similar tone to chu 2 but with better soundstage for monitoring work on my daw
and also dac dongle preferably under 100$
was thinking something like supermix 4 but they really kill the bass, i don't really know iems in this price range lol
(2)
Iirc soundstage has more to do with tuning instead of technicality
should've said technicality mb
Do u fw planar?

Try to get the demo for letshuoer s8
Man these r gorgeous
I have never tried planar in my life
That why im concern yeah
But in term of technicality the thing is a beast
the tuning imo better than the s12pro
i've been told that planar are not quite good on bass range and im a basshead soo
but still haven't tried planar before so idk
It doesnt have the impact and rumble of a dd so yeah
.
Single DD
Good tech
There is also the ie200
Wouldnt rec it tho

Ew300?
yeah was considering that one too
real thick bass and warm profile but still need the other option too
I dont fw simid
