#What phone to buy for osu!droid?
1 messages ยท Page 3 of 1
I don't doubt you, but I have to see with my own eyes
how does used iphone have 100% battery health
prob replaced
yeah
okay
but yeah usually used iphone batteries at at like
im not iphone user, thats on me
it can be faked
dont ya forgor reprogram thing exist
told ya i dont use iphone
Doesn't that need
๐
no legit
getting out of topic are we?
true
nope
kinda heated, but the more one know, thread is 1000+ messages already
we got invested
just read pinned for info
wolfram 1100 myr to idr

doesn't mean you should sway away from topic
bruh
fucking dropped pretty hard wtf
ima check how much they selling s22/s23
memory leak...?
i think waiting for old s23 should be the way to go in the future
maybe im just gonna wait
Replaced by owner
since the base s23 is actually one of the cheaper sd 8 gen 2 device out there
wolfram 2289 myr to idr
this looksW
how much the retail price
Last one since I don't want someone to be petty
dayum
i bought my s20 from that e-store
jsut becareful ig
to flip money
dont drop it
๐ฅ
or youll cry
infinite money glitch

considering iphone on average only lose 50-ish percent of its value after 4 years you really got a steal on that
compare to android... 80%
though using old android is kinda a miserable experience anyway
i pinned it
ty
thats fucking low wtf
actually not all since there are some oem shit happen but that should be most of it
LG never went above 60Hz
so their new model is just not there
ic
wait wtf
like
i distinctively remember the last gen of lg (velvet, g8, v60, wing) never goes above 60
where lg wings
whooping 6 users
@worn sinew quite a lot actually
wtf
and here we have like what
5 known people in the server whos using a bs4
๐๐
the other 167 bs4 users:
btw, for context
welp something happened
i tried droid again with gos disabled with adb
fps and delay gets fucked up
and then i tried to use netguard again
back to normal
lol
just disable all game booster related
game "booster"
@zinc lynx
those are the package name
with 60hz delay
can you like
show to us the gpuwatch
if you can use it
@zinc lynx enable this in dev option
If you have it that is
is this about buying a phone anymore

I think if you have to do this crazy workaround to get the phone working for the game, it's obviously not a go-to, and that should be it for the post really
wait wtf delay went normal again

maybe its my phone issue
lemme
oh nvm
it only does it in droid for some reason
i tried doing the same thing on other games but
it's normal
what are you trying to do here? minimize input delay?
yes because the delay wasn't that bad
i tried on debug ver aswell
but on debug it's normal
ok my bad it is my phone issue
mb
droid is not really a good game to test on
due to inputs being propagated to a different thread than the UI
so you will get more delay compared to other games
ik but in the last couple of months its not as bad as rn
but oh well ill fix my phone sometime
you can try this (#1178222257718444104 message) build where everything has been moved to the input thread, but hit judgement is still done in the update thread (done per game frame)
this build can be used to test input delay?
is it effective?
if yes then i think this build should be pinned here for people who might want to test their input delay using their new phone or smth
no, it is a "candidate release" of 1.7.2
which does have that change
oh
I'm going to preach for the BS4 gang
Despite my Black Shark 4 dying on me, if you take care of it or even get local warranty, it's currently still the best price to touch performance phone out there (second hand since the phone is so old now)
144hz refresh + 720hz touch sampling
used listings can be found for as little as ~220 USD in my local online flea market (https://carousell.app.link/WL7jZDbUECb)

at this bracket it will at least have to compete with rog phone 3 and red magic 5s
I have a Redmagic 5S
(thanks Snuce)
the one great thing it does have is it's software for blocking the status bar is great
but it has a dealbreaker for a desk player like me
it's entire back glass is curved, and it suffers from severe wobbling issues
and from my research, I could only find a single case for the phone that somewhat mitigates the issue, but still unstable
seem like something a silicon case can solve pretty easily
no
nonononon
you'd be dead wrong
it's not a camera bump where it can be easily compensated for
imagine a name card/business card
squish the long edges together
the card's middble flexes up
that's the shape of the back glass
and 99% of the cases I can find are also curved themselves
i mean i have a curved back phone before (the zenfone 2) and its official case hug the back of the phone and have a flat surface instead
so i dont really know how bad the situation is
the main issues still is, the phone just does not want to sit stably on a table
well it does looks like they value the ergonormic when holding phone in 2 hand for e sport title over desk stability
ditto
without some modding, like blu-tack at the back of the phone, unless you're a lap player, i don't recommend Redmagic 5S
ROG phone 3 though I have no idea
never seen it nor used it before
ROG phone 1 was pretty good though, especially for its aspect ratio
iirc the rog 2 have some severe qc issue
where the backplate just pops right off due to the battery going pillow route
not sure if rog phone 3 fix it
its actually not that popular compared to the rog phone 5 and 1
and yes there are 90 users playing droid on asus chromebook dont think about it
wtf?????
emulator gaming
chromebook can run android app
with a bit of workaround the chrome os
iirc later on google just say "fuck it" and allow actual android app installation anyway
also i would like to know which brave soul bought the sharp aquos zero 2
apparently 11 if you take the number with a grain of salt since its trivial to spoof device info
oh that
I guess it's not the same phone?
ok fun fact, I bought Tetterei a phone
I was talking to him about whether I should go with the ROG phone 1 or the Sharp Aquos R2 Compact
because he wanted a phone less than 6 inches and high refresh
ended up buying the ROG phone 1 for him, which is why I have experience with the phone
not many compact, 16:9 high refresh phones exist out there
oh thats the r2
technically the cheapest phone with 120Hz
||force droid to run in 16:9 mode as a feature when?||
pretty sure its in sub-100 dollars range now
droid felt better on old phone aspect ratios
the zero 2 is the only phone on the market (or at least according to gsmarena) come with a 240Hz screen
the problem is that its sucks at everything else
Hmm how it did't last long what the issue?
.
Ouh
m5 is just a cheaply made phone with unremarkable spec but with all the qc mishap poco has been known for
O:
if possible please consider buying new old stock flagship or used flagship
And how about the screen specly for osu droid and is it good to buy stock flapship for osu
if you are asking the m5 i assume your budget is around 150 dollars
@fair delta i would also want to ask what country are you from
dont worry i've seen worse
at least i dont have a stroke reading the message
at your price point the "safe" bet would be a sony xperia v ii for the best spec and screen refresh rate
you can check the pinned msg for online seller that sell the device
admitedly this budget is pretty tight
Ouh thanks
Xperia 5 mk ii is your best choice for that budget
still there are the concern of green line on screen, so try not to overheat the phone by sayyy... charging and using the phone at the same time
its really just early 120hz panel issue in general
I believe all Huawei phones running HarmonyOS or EMUI should also be restricted
if I recall correctly, those devices do not report that they support multitouch
so the game will not enable multitouch support for them
there is no workaround to this (other than flashing another OS, of course), because all supersets of multitouch reports check if the subsets are fulfilled first
wtf?
Really?
yes
@faint sequoia can you link some reports for confirmation?
search for "multitouch is not supported" across this server
perhaps it is not restricted to just HarmonyOS or EMUI
Magic UI is also affected
there are also other occurrences in the dev server
check the huawei channel
there was also an issue opened in the game's repository https://github.com/osudroid/osu-droid/issues/104
again, this is more of an issue with the OS, but if you have to flash another OS to fix the problem, I might as well consider it not worth getting
multitouch should very well be supported since Android 2
so this is a very weird tangent
There's also one reporting this issue on the Droid subreddit
Ig semi-blacklist? Because you say it can be avoided if you replace the rom
can you link the reddit post?
having to replace the ROM is already a red flag for me
you should not need to go that far
also I'm not entirely sure if it's actually fixable by replacing the ROM
I have not seen anyone tried to do it
that adds weight onto my red flag
Hm
this is certainly strange
is the multi touch capability flag is somehow deprecated on newer android version?
No
From the game-side I considered to remove the check for that flag, but it's quite deep into the game engine and I'm afraid it will have other side effects
For osu!droid?
Me when doesn't read the context
Don't show your iq -3 at here
Not to mention it is old msg
Poor you
That's a joke, no need to say these things, that's okay
(it felt like that wasn't a joke)
(I mean the guy going aggro on you)
no I didn't I have used BS4 for 2 years now
because I don't have money for other phone
I don't use this phone for games anymore (I have iPad) so idk it only has some minor issues
i was just looking around and then i found this. why is it very cheap?
kinda sus bro
very much i talked to the seller and they said "because this is an imported item"
no idea honestly
imported items should be more expensive
how is it 94% off
It's not.. even if the offer ends its just gonna stays for rm200. the discount itself is fake
didn't know that
Thing is.. if it's too good to be true . Then it's probably is
oh sht really? i didnt know ur still using it
lack of communication moment
sorry
There you go
scam phone
but still good right?
mid
ok look
for basic task, its good
but value proposition wise, its just dime in the dozen "budget" android device
i guess 2-3 years out of this is to be expected, but dont expect it to perform well from the 2nd year onward especially for game
its honor
prayge it comes with google stuff
otherwise you need to install it yourself
how many run off the mill chinese android garbage you have to make us sip thru man ๐
there is proxy for google service that comes by default
but its kinda shit
but others google stuff?
sori lmao
if you still care bout refresh rate. that xperia 5 ii but if you dont.. samsung s10/s10e
major chinese android manufacturer basically slept together and decided to not out do each other since 2021 already
s10 getting pretty cheap anyway
do not expect any out of the line value from their non flagship devices
but of youre not getting software updates anymore
not like you can also get update if you go with xperia 5 ii
if you gonna throw me some unknown brand it might still be more interesting ๐
@tough sundial
s10 is a bit too old tbh
yea
the most "budget" exflagship ever
ye
2019
is 855 even good for 2023/2024 now?
yes, but solely for the gpu and strong community support
raw efficiency wise its now trailing behind sd 6 gen 1
which is the newest "mid range"
when your chipset being compared to a midrange thats when you gotta upgrade your phone
canu check snap dragon 665
the chart only have 662
well they have similar spec
so uh, here is the chart
๐
vertical is geekbench 5 score
horizontal is wattage
qualcomm's flagship improvement (ignore the 2 dumpster fire that is 888 and 8 gen 1)
16W pepega
score gap
Decent,I used to have honor x7 and it is not that bad
The bad thing is I'm downgrading that time meh
With that price maybe u can buy Samsung Galaxy a05s (idk if there is still have latency issue for droid since my old Samsung has it)
IF you want a new phone
Or with that budget, just buy a used flagship just like Mr star said
Avoid the A series it's just e-waste
Even the new A series performance dosent that good
Fancy camera but performance wise?

old a series like a5 and a7 looks so good, even better than the s series
Well "dosent that good" sure gonna trigger someone
Let's just say, it can game but at a cost
And targeted to Non tech savvy
Bro its snap 680 tho
Actually samsung generous enough
there it is
+25w fast charging
while theres an exflagship just under rm700 or at rm700
ยฏ_(ใ)_/ยฏ
offers much better peformance and feature
eh
beats me
I said IF need a new phone
yeah
If hes buying a sd680 phone that costs RM700 ($150), though there's an sd865 for the same price why would he pick the SD680 ?
I'm out
Not 700 .. 800 actually:v
New phone
Simple
Don't they are the one who said that they need NEW phone bcs of mom blablabla
Sometimes idk if this thread title is relevant or not
check the pins ig
Nvm let's 1v1 on osu!droid I'll beat you with my fingers ๐ค
On ANDROID
Are you dumb HAHAHAHAAHHA
Let's fight ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Lose an argument
1v1
What is the point
Like i said, don't show your low iq behavior here
Thank you
I don't need low IQ, I have a brain ๐ง
Not to mentioned you replying to old msg
Sigh

I have one, hbu ๐คก
I got both iq and brain
In most simplest sentence for yout brain , im not an idiot
Same for me ๐
We know
I think we're in the wrong chat
It's your fault @smoky sable
You started with this
Low IQ for you
Dude you started it
Just keep going as far as it goes
You: Buy iPhone
Me: Buy an Android phone to play osu!droid
Topic: "What phone to buy for osu!droid"
Meta: osu!droid for iphone doesn't exist, only osu!stream
Also me:oot
oot
I didn't read
i know , ucan't read
Thats why u follow the path of stupidity

y'all getting sidetracked
day
Go argue in dms or something
Mods, crush his skull
Please stop
Okay sorry
I came back with this conversation
But okay, the good phone may depend on response time, processing, cpu
As the basics, as intermediate, as the advanced
Like as advanced by quality and prices, redmagic, blackshark or something
But there is a point, every phone has its flaws
That's why I understood
conclusion: buy pcoc x3
I edited my old message but
Sorry for this ... can't you just ask/give a recommendation for phone that suits as daily driver ||(not for droid and what ever oot is)|| in #technology instead of here?
Read the thread title
ยฏ_(ใ)_/ยฏ

Still don't know why this thread has been active for months
someone close it or something
It's a thread for people whose searching phone mainly for playing osu!droid
Plus which to avoid
this act like a mega thread due to the fact that the question is an always moving target
new phone got release, budget is different
grenade
really?
yea its bad
I have heard people saying some Poco phones die from motherboard,CPU,battery issues
yes
personal experience?
what about the new poco f5
but gathering informations
Redmi note 12 turbo?
yeah
china ver
they're basically the same
Time bomb basically
i know
not sure because id probably not touch xiaomi phones in a long time
i lost my trust for them
my 500$ went down the drain
Which phone?
I heard it has thermal issues
hmm
But again I'm not so sure
but its shit
But poco and dead mobo is a common thing
it's xiaomi what did you expect ๐
Time bomb
Was it brand new or second hand?

brand new
Anyways
but yea they sabotaged me
I saw a tik tok where Redmi note 12 battery just fucking exploded
like deadass
Lemme sent it
ill try out flagship phones to see if it fits my needs and if it does then ill probably just go with flagships forever
reminds me of that one poco x3
Poco is just Redmi phone rebranded
Xiaomi probably designs their phone in a way that consumers get a new one or upgraded one every year
My old phone Redmi note 8 battery keeps inflating like 4-5 times
one time it was bootlooping one time the phone smelled like it was butta explode
Both 2019 one and 2021 had that issue so avoid that if you're considering it for some god know what reason ๐
I have probably used 200K+(MMK) changing new batteries
Redmi note 8 ฤi a 1๐ 6 thรดi mร 64gb bแป nhแป trong rแปi
wait, how come my redmi s2 still survive?
The main problem is that the company that manufactures phones launches a new one to put the current phone on its feet, and after a few years of manufacturing the company leaves this phone aside to manufacture another one and doing the same thing
In this case, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE+
Good phone, with value for money that made the public buy it as it was worth using, Some time ago yes, but now Samsung no longer cares about the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE+ with its usefulness that they stopped to sell the phone
silicon lottery
they dont intentionally order the phone to blow itself up after 2 years
(cuz lets be real, they will be in big trouble doing so, see applegate)
but they just betting on aggressive release cycle and non-existing quality control in hope that budget user will keep on the buying new phone treadmill
it obviously also depends on how badly you treat your phone, the engineering effort to cram the component inside the chasis with thermal volume to spare
but frankly speaking, its mostly luck-based
this also extend to the case of plub's blackshark, the series 8 snapdragon has always been a hungry beast, pair with a high refresh rate screen and its a challenge to make the phone work under stressing condition, xiaomi clearly cut corner on the engineering front to low ball their price
so it again, up to luck whether how long it can survive, especially under highly demanding use case like gaming
and as long as most of the phone live pass the warranty, they dont care
I still stand with my prophecy.. and I'm not surprised
this is dangerously close to sub-100 even brand new
Rm1,2k ($268) for sd480 wtf
amazon list it at 168 for 4/128
Oh a 1 year old phone hm
Simple Google as non tech savy
Sums it up really
i mean, i just say how low can we go for 120hz
could be only used in menu for all i care

Either that or it's limited like aquos R2
Advertised (probably just people assumption) having 120hz but in reality it only go up to 100hz
Yep people just make assumptions it has 120hz.. the website don't even mention about having 120hz
Redmi s2?
They probably reduce the device's performance after a year or two. My phone k30 ultra is infamous for having CPU issues, overheating, mobo dead issues for quiet a lot of people. I suppose I won the ' silicon lottery ' since it usually doesn't goes over 47 celcius during heavy gaming
I mean their latest flagship phone has a god damn li-po battery instead of li-ion
a 5000mah li-po is cheap and almost in every mid ranger even low range phones now so I ain't even know why they used 4800mah battery knstead
lipo key advantage is that they can be shaped into anything
probably do so to save space
Long term?
I see
also yes lipo is dirt cheap nowaday
but back then my zenfone 2 lipo battery is a novelty
damn when did you use that phone?
holy crap 22 nm, how long did the battery lasted in day to day normal life
and here I'm complaining how much power inefficient dimensity 1000+ is
5000mah? I thought it said 3000mah
wait lemme check
but yea its definitely full day
also when you are stepping out of the disaster name sd 810, anything is effecient
though granted, the latest at the time that intel soc release is already sd 820
was it a huge diff in SD 810 and 820
dont remember
not that i care about 820 because there is no way i can buy something brand new with that for 140 bucks in early 2017
that zenfone 2 is one of the last on the clearance bin
honestly, best purchase i have ever made for a phone
still snappy until the day its battery gave up
(around 30 months later)
makes the later purchase of the max pro m1 even more sting
Xiaomi 13T is recommended, gameplay is smooth.
it is also 500 dollars

Samsung Galaxy S23+ is recommended, gameplay is smooth.
ROG Phone 7 is recommended, gameplay is VERY smooth, tencent gaming version hover around 650-700 bucks
actually it should be 8 in a few days
Xperia 5 ii almost hitting sub rm600 here
The perfect phone for osudroid exists, but it's the Redmagic 9 Pro
So only way for it to be accessible is to wait a few years
Bjir
I want this birthday role removed
My birthday was yesterday and it already passed
once the redmagic 9 is released, the new perfect osudroid is going to be the redmagic 10
but the price is extreme
will be
@jolly vapor that's why I said this
well, you cannot wait a couple of years to start playing droid
the price is around the same as the flagships no?
That's the problem lol
what if you need it rn.
Well, my default recommendation is still the Black Shark 4
I would recommend almost any phone that got a 700-800 series snap, 90-120hz screen, above 60hz sample rate phone
its good, just for 1 year....
You sure about that???
above
Lmao just hope you win the hardware lottery
for example:
We were probably just unlucky
i would say aim for atleast 120hz sampling rate
idk man im chillling with a flagship now
no more gamin phones
(maybe)
i dont really play droid a lot anymore and i wanted a reliable phone so i just bought a flagship
The Poco F3 will have to be significantly cheaper than the BS4 to be competitive
how much is the bs4
would guess used
200 USD secondhand
Tell me something else that can offer 720hz touch sampling at this price
oh it got 720hz?
damn
whats the catch?
does it explode within a year?
guessed so
No
Not exactly
Tabby and Luna's BS4 are still working
I think nagisa's BS4 also still works
Just me and plub who got unlucky
type of deal
Basically
bad rng....
yeah so the bs4 looks good specs wise and stuff but considering what you said
many people wont risk
true i scared them

Well a Black Shark 5 is going for 340 USD
But I can't recommend it because I've not used it myself
Reason I won't just do this
Feels irresponsible to me
well, i usually do my research before i buy my phones
like watch 50 review videos, check risks and pros, see if there are better alternatives
doesnt most ppl do that?
for 400
unless theyre stupid
i wouldnt call them stupid
more like... inexperienced
some people just see the brand and they click buy
then get surprised if the phone blows up

literally 0 research before buying something
the only research people do is which brand not to buy
to be honest you cannot go wrong with an iphone
unless they have a lot of money laying around
but in the world of android
you got like 10-20 different big brands
mainly xiaomi, samsung, honor, huawei, oneplus, oppo, redmagic, rog
well, knowing avarage kiddos, they aint got that much
ive seen people walking around with samsung a31's

and a02's
not cause they cant afford good phones
its because its samsung
i walk around with 80$ 2nd hand phone too dw
but i have s23+ now
ooo
so i xhill
thats expensive but super nice
that will hold on for a long time
idk when my f3 will give up tbh
havent seen much performance loss yet
yea i had my eyes on the s23 for quite a long time
but when i actually got to buy it,
i heard the s20 fe isnt bad either
the base s23 is out of stock
wow
because they dont produce it anymore
so you went with the ultra ๐ฅ
a
but yea i just said fuck it and bought the s23+ instead
on topic, i would say the sampling rate and the refresh rate play a big role
for droid players
and the cpu... so it can run stable vsync
w h a t
wdym what

vsync, by that i mean run at refresh rate
just say run at maximum fps
huh
bruh
For some reason my brain is rotting reading this chat
still gotta work on how to speak normally, just go away if ya cant hold up
fr
well yeah its just my opinion, try getting a decent cpu phone with 90-120hz screen and 120hz sampling rate
thats like the minimum to play 120hz without issues
I might have found something
It's been a long time since I checked with OnePlus
This seems very promising on paper
It's 1000hz touch sampling for 400 USD
My default recommendation being the BS4 will probably never change, for 200~250 USD it's unbeatable
But if you're either afraid it's going to explode or you don't like buying secondhand, you better have the money to afford such luxury
In which case the conversation kind of becomes irrelevant, if money is no issues you wouldn't be here
I've used a whole 3 generations worth of OnePlus phones to know that they support their phones well, even though I can't say anything about the Nord 3's actual touch performance because I've never used it myself, I still believe it is trust worthy
The Dimensity 9000 is a legendary chipset and it can pretty much handle anything
It's kinda disappointing really, you almost never see budget phones have very high touch sampling rates and honestly, the OnePlus Nord 3 is so far the only actually affordable (~400 USD) NEW phone with such a high touch sampling rate I've seen
The lowest brand new listing for it I can find is 360 USD, and 345 USD for lightly used, I think that's as good as it gets
Hopefully I get to actually test out the phone hands-on
Additional note: Normally the lack of a headphone jack is an automatic DQ for me, but it's now 2024 and cheap DSP IEMs exist so I don't mind any more
Damn reading a bit more about the phone and it's growing on me, it seems like an excellent all-round phone not only for gaming but for everyday use as well
https://m.gsmarena.com/oneplus_nord_3-review-2584p6.php
"No high frame rate gaming"
NEVERMIND
I got hyped up for nothing zzzzzzz
I guess I'll still test it out if I can just to see if it somehow still allows droid to run at 120fps
Feel pretty dumb to include 1000hz touch sampling on a phone that doesn't support high frame rate gaming, what's the point then

@leaden hill imo oneplus newer model fell into mediocrity just like xiaomi
i wouldnt really wholeheartedly recommend them
Solution = work
They did fellouf after the OnePlus 8 but I feel like they've been on a bit of a comeback recently
It gonna be painful to find a demo set in Singapore but I'll still try
tecno pova 5 for osu?
It's fine for the price
Reasonable and probably can play droid fine
But if you want that can always go 60fps+* xperia 5 mk 2
But it's a gamble
if some people prefer a better huawei phone with faster response, the Huawei Nova 9 would be the match. it would cost like $479.99, with 120hz and 300hz touch sampling rate
ik y'all hate huawei, but it can be possible to install native gms on it
Poco f3 is cheaper and has 360hz touch
outdated
๐ซณ
||everything is better than huawei||
if possible please specify the country/region for your recommendation
as different market have different selections with different prices due to various reasons
for example in vietnam, you can buy a realme gt 5 for 374 dollars (12/256) and 414 dollars (16/512)
snapdragon 8 gen 2
144hz screen
touch sampling rate is usually double the screen refresh rate already
also realme gt neo 5 5g at 255 dollar (12/256) already have snap 8 gen 1+
and 144hz
cant do much when poco is still demolishing the bracket
i forgor that one
here's the pricing:
Philippines - $479.99
Indonesia - $384.99
UK - ยฃ499.99
well shit cuz i have a huawei lol

me with my huawei p30 pro that has a touch sampling rate 12x my refresh rate lmao
wait wgat
idk if its actually true, but apparently it has "up to" a 720hz touch sampling rate
and input latency is still 100ms
its probably just some marketing stunt tho tbh
o
One question, is the Redmi Note 10 pro good for the OsuDroid?
It has the Snapdragon 732g
what is the asking price?
i mean, it will do the job, but 732g is not that good
and also the dreaded miui
maybe 120 dollars or less
if used, 100 dollars
it IS a 3-year-old mid range
might find or buy redmi note 12
Well, I modified the rom and it works better than with miui because I think it is for 120 or 180 dollars
if you have the phone i guess you can keep using it
Ok I just checked its price and it is for 270 dollars ๐
Oh ok
according to phone value depreciation statistic, by now the phone would lost roughly 70% of its value
But I'm thinking about upgrading to a new one. I don't know which one to choose, the Poco F5 Pro or the Poco x6 Pro.
though for cheaper phone, there is a minimum floor price
Hmm ok and any recommendations with stable 120hz?
personally i would go with f5 pro
if i have to pick between the 2
but i will assume you are just finding something in the range of those 2 devices (400 ish dollars)
Ok then maybe it fits me for several games, right?
would like to know what game
like pubg mobile or mobile legend or whatever something like that?
Ok with Call of Duty Mobile and Warzone Mobile only those and also with Minecraft but I don't know if it will be able to support Osu Lazer
Haha I don't think it's still not very well optimized is what I've seen
anyway for this price range 8 gen 1+ for new old stock and 8 gen 2 for used should be doable
For wzm just wait for it to be fully released
Oh ok entonces estarรญa bien el Poco f5
8300U is slightlyyyyyy better than 8 gen 1+
I think sd 865 or above is enough to run that game but the only problem is its still eating a lot of ram
Moving on
Poco f5
Well, AMI, that price seems good to me because I will buy it soon haha
like, slightlyyyyyy better
I'd pick that if there's no other options left
Oh ok thanks to both of you for helping me decide since I didn't know which one haha
Also
Prayge you didnt get unlucky enough with your unit
Infamous time bomb with poco
๐ซณ
Hmm I hope so and if not then in the future I will change for another hahaha
otherwise here are candidate i find worthwhile for the price range (vietnamese price)
- realme gt5 (s8g2 doable, its just that from other experience the touch response isnt good despite the 144Hz)
- redmi k70 (s8g2, but not just miui, but chinese miui, ewwwww)
- rog phone 6 (s8g1+, solid performance, "gaming" phone, close to stock android thank god)
- (used) galaxy s23 (its samsung)
- (used) xiaomi 13 pro (much more premium feel than the k series)
also bonus, the redmi k70 pro for 460 dollars have s8g3 wtf (this one may actually make lazer playable
)
no way someone wants to buy an android device to play lazer
though tbf, that insane price can only be achieve inside china or outside china with some tax evasion manuever
Go smasnug thx
hahaha I see I think there are more and better options but hey and if not then let's wait a little longer haha
feel free to check the price of these device in your region
and maybe share the price here too
it wont be helpful for long (like, a month max, before those phone receive more price cut
) but hey help is help
Yes haha โโthanks anyway I will be checking prices and see if I can do what I mentioned
also if you find currency conversion a bit unwieldy, you can use @broken helm
for example
wolfram 11250000 vnd to usd
npnp
Thank you ๐
it can support lazer
and it runs better with a vulkan renderer
Im using a rm note 13
Oppo A92 is kinda cuck when playing droid
Already tried
And it shows the cursor stuck when to tap streams
no gesture enabled on the phone?
does the cursor getting stuck after an android update? or its already shit out of the box
i will add it to the blacklist
These are the specs
And no. It's a used one
My friend's phone actually
since prior impact is unknown
i will move it to semi-blacklist for now since the spec is pretty underwhelming anyway
i think
Hi everyone has any of youall has use the redmi note 12 or infinix note 30 and has any experience with it to know what phones has the best of using experience
infinix note 30 is currently in the thread's "blacklist" due to constant input drop complaint from users
meanwhile so far we have not saw the same on the note 12
How about the perfomance term and snapdragon experience
so if you only pick between 1 of 2, absolutely the note 12
otherwise we can probably suggest another device
@fair delta what is your budget? and your country you are finding your device?
Ooo thank so much for suggestion
145usd
Is any other recomendation
try to search for sony xperia v mark 2 or pixel 4
How about for a new devices?
worthwhile new device at this range can be very hard to find, all the phone manufacture do have to extract profit from you
@fair delta feel free to read pinned message on why we keep recommending used phone buy via online front
i can probably find a better brand new
but it wont be that much better
Ouh thank so much for the information but if you have any recomendation for a new device it will be better and thank you again for the information you give
for brand new, maybe the tecno pova 5
if brand new and 120Hz this is pretty much it
the helio g99 is what i can only call "ok"
again, if you go around reputable online store for second hand you can easily find snapdragon 855 or even 865 at this range
which casually curb stomp the g99
well, at least the battery situation is good
