insecurities come here and there, regarding to skills and such—but it's way better to do something about it than nothing.

i think i am still in the middle of finding some inspirations, but so far, i found some artists like hemorina and tite (not the filipino term ) kubo.

but i will further explore for more.

it looks good, but, the character feels out of place with the background. I suggest you add a multiply blend mode and apply a dominant color from the background. This will create a more vivid impression as the character's color adjusts to the temperature/color of the background.
