but now you can not even reload it with explosive boxes
i understand but if you have a commander that works that way not always the case, in fact most of the time its not
They specificly said thats still possible, so if you cant its a bug
Nah it’s a L move. You can say it was a little OP maybe with the redeploying and spamming them. But you need common ground. If you keep the count down the same.
1 explosive box should shave of 1 minute off the count downtime. The community as a whole lacks on putting down explosive rounds. This would motivate teams to put more explosive rounds down.
If you want to counter argue that axis has more options for explosive rounds then I get it. But regardless one player per box is fine.
This is positive common ground.
Also edit: you can’t even clearly see the countdown on the flares on console you can see it’s like missing a piece of it to see it’s not ready to use. But a more accurate clearer timer would make sense. Just a L move it became.
I can agree that an ammo box can reduce the cooldown, that'd be fine imo.
Source?
Somewhere in the 19.1 test branch stream
i just don't think a timer on it should have been put in you have some recons that don't even run the flare build, Games were recon don't even use it at all even when asked in lead chat. It only becomes a problem to people when a recon team spams it, if they want to tick up their deaths to spam flares should that not be the players prerogative In the way they play that role??. like tank player running into groups of people knowing the have a satchel on them. so what im saying is stop stopping how people play their roles and instead learn to play round it. you dont give an artist paint and tell them what they can and cant not paint
There is no way to "play around" flare spam.
It's already quite easy to defend a cap and find out the direction of an enemies flank on your own position.
Spammable flares mean literally trading 1-4 lives to find out which direction the enemies flanking from.
On certain points, that also means exposing the only one viable garry spot to advance from.
The information found out via flare can often be waaaaay more valauble than a few deaths for a single guy, in a game where deaths don't matter.
