Could the mortars use any supplies or would the ammo bearer have a special box type? Perhaps explosive ammo boxes could be the supply and the bearer's box carries the mentioned 25-50 with each shell taking 1-2 ammo depending on type. This could allow inter squad working between supports/riflemen with hot drops for MORTAR FIRE AND MANEUVER! The ultimate team planning required.

We can also do that aswell, just didn't wanted to make this too easy to use ( maybe overpowered ) I'd love to test all this out
