To add more diversity, realism and interest to this game, it would be very interesting to introduce and clearly differentiate between offensive (concussion) and defensive grenades (fragmentation) .

It depends on each specific grenade, but in general it can be said that defensive/fragmentation grenades should be less lethal but with a larger damage area in open spaces. On the other hand, offensive grenades have a smaller damage area but a more powerful explosion, at short distances (2 meters) they should be much more lethal and also generate a greater concussion effect.
On the other hand, in close quarters, offensive grenades would have a larger damage area.

For example, the American assault soldier should use the Mk3 offensive grenade, the rest of the classes would mainly use the MK2.

The Soviet soldier should replace the RG-42 grenade with the F1 grenade. And only the assault role would use the RG-42. Mention that the RG-42 also

PS: The MK3 is a pure offensive grenade made almost without metal so it has no fragmentation. But the RG-42 is made of metal and therefore has some fragmentation.

What is your opinion brothers?

The Soviet F1 grenade had a significantly higher lethal range than the American Mk2.

During World War II, 84.2 million German M39 "egg" grenades were produced. This number made it the most common German hand grenade of the war, surpassing the "potato masher" stick grenade, of which 75.5 million were produced.
High production: The M39 grenade was easier and cheaper to manufacture than the stick grenade because it did not require hollowing out a wooden handle.
Wartime use: Over 84 million of these grenades were produced by the end of the war.
Iconic vs. common: While the stick grenade is more often shown in movies, the M39 was produced in greater numbers.
