Allow the commander to use 50 Cal, or M1919 Browning with tracers, while out halfway inside hatch. This would help not only support against anti-tank, but direct main gun support. Giving wider visual gain but balancing the actions of being shot increased since you are more exposed. With reference picture accurate to timeline an additional gun for troop dismount would be an amazing addition.

Love it but I think being shot would be the biggest issue as tanks are usually in relatively intense positions with quite a bit of infantry around. But other than that
