Hooooly. First legit case of a hacker posted that I have seen. Good thing they're a rare issue on comnunity servers.

Maybe because the skilled PC players could easily kill all the console players without making a sweat while the console players with the help of aim-assist could have an edge over the non-Aim capable PC players. Such players could have no chance.
A fully unfair environment that would be providing a fight of technologies rather than a fight of players' skill levels within range of one certain technology.

How much, would depend on the max aim-assist impact in HLL ofc. But from what I have seen how it works in general, it's a "no thanks".

Even if it could be done...
At the worst-case-scenario there could be such a crossplay **on the official **(=non-community-hosted) servers only... why?

  • I haven't got to know anybody from the community server owners/admins that would be in favour of console <> PC crossplay in their servers, no matter if forced or switchable-OFF by the admins
  • in the official servers, you have to keep in mind that encountering the cheaters (PC cheaters obviously), would be really easy... as the official HLL servers are not moderated by any admins so basically it's the cheaters' paradise
  • from the console players perspective, many legit-skilled PC players would be mis-called cheaters too. That's for granted.

If you as a console player would be willing to cross-play on the official HLL servers only and accept all the consequences, by all means feel free to suggest it. But I am sure you would be out of patience real soon after encountering some cheaters (or skilled PC players) too often in there. And that begs for a question if it is worth it at all for the devs, to spend time and resources to develop it. 😐

The standard Blueberry on console is like playing bots basically. 75% of them dont have mic's either. I could see it being a bigger headache that anyone thinks especially if they think it'd be "fun". If comp players on console wanna play with PC then that should be fine but not standard bluebs
