So Team 17 have just made this game free on Epic Games and it's also available on Xbox Game Pass for PC. I think a level cap for leadership roles needs to be introduced to stop new players from taking the squad leader role. Because when you are commander new players do not know what to do or like the majority of the time they don't have a mic and this means alot of running from HQ's because of the lack of OP's and a lack of Garrisons and matches are also over in a matter of minutes. These new players are coming from games like CoD, BF and Fortnite, Hell Let Loose has a learning curve and if you are going to maintain the Xbox Game Pass for PC deal, run discounts on the games and make it free on Epic then leadership roles need to be locked until at least level 50.

Maybe 50 for command but squad lead should be 30 or sum
SL should be level 50 and commander 65. SL are important, new players should just be locked to rifleman until level 10 and then Medic at level 20, and so on.
This is implemented per server by server owners. I mostly play on Dark Horizon servers and they have level limitations (not all of them)
I'm talking about making it mandatory whether it's an official or community server. ATM community servers are also having this issue.
That’s easily the best way to kill the game though

The game is getting killed off now imo to many new players not know what to do.

So… a huge influx of new people boosting the numbers of the player base, many of which will choose to stick around because they enjoyed the game? Sounds to me like literally the opposite of being killed off but sure. All you’d do by grossly inflating the requirements for player freedom would kill off whatever chance you had for players to stick around. People stay because they experiment with roles, find ones they like and then continue to play them, not because they’ve been railroaded into one (fairly boring) class that they’re stuck on for the next 2 hours of gameplay before they can even try the next one. If we implemented having to be an even higher level for squad leader or commander, or heaven forbid every single class other than rifleman, nobody would want to play the game and it’d actually die off
