Tank turret rotation speed needs to be increased. For example it takes 50 seconds to make a full rotation in game on the M4A3E2 Jumbo tank when it actually takes approximately 15 seconds.

I and every other tank player I’ve talked to about this agrees that the turret rotation speed in game should more accurately reflect actual rotation speeds, at least meet half way in the middle. It’s just way too slow like the turret has been damaged or something. I think it would make the gameplay more challenging and less frustrating for everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my AAR.

Tanks in general NEED an overhaul, this is one of the things that should be at the top of that list

15 Seconds is too high!

While this isn't supposed to be a SIM exactly, the M4A3E2 Jumbo took about 24 seconds under optimal high engine RPM conditions. The Tiger I was 24-26 seconds and the Panther was similar.

The M26 Pershing was the first to do it in 15 seconds regardless of engine RPMs.

The driver should be a key crew member to help orient the turret to get it approximately on target.

I agree, last night I got stuck up against a tiny fence post with a tiger 3 times in a row and it stalled me out each time. It kills the realism when tanks do things that contradict what a tank would be able to do.

not only is the turret rotation too slow but it is also impossible to get out of the cupola to prevent the infantry from turning around a tank this is what makes the satchel OP and not the satchel itself this is something that should be modified in some way either install a mg on the tank turrets to balance the ridiculous rotation speed or give the driver the ability to rotate the turret faster with the driver this would reinforce the value of good team communication or increase the speed of the turret according to the engine speed

currently a player stuck to a tank is absolutely not afraid of anything because the tank has no means of defense it is both stupid and unbalanced when the infantry has a single-shot weapon because it becomes the hunter of a 60 ton machine costing 600 in fuel when it should be the other way around I will be told that the tank must be covered by the infantry but there are a ton of players who are waiting for the tanks to Spawn and in this case it is not possible and the tank is doomed if it gets stuck on a shovel because infantry also runs fast enough to follow it...

The safest playstyle for tanks it to stay like 150m back and shoot at anything that moves.

That sadly a boring playstyle and only relays the inevitable. At some point inf with a sachtel will find its way. There always is at least on person who will try to satchel you at any given moment. This one dude will be sucessfull because no one guards a tank. Most people even expect tanks to move ahead to shield them...

They should at least give us a faster turret rotation on the light and recon tanks. Like that at least those could be used a bit more aggressive.

(And AP for the Luchs so its fair but thats another topic)
