That’s commands problem, if he prefers to call in a tiger and then kettenkrad well ok, but if he decides to spawn a ketten first and no more fuel for heavy well thats what makes the commander role DECISIVE.
Same on HOI4 wrong decision can cost you the win.

They got many vehicles, no complaints about fuel there however, mainly because commander decides whether to spawn it or not🤷♂️

I think if the vehicle cap would need to be increased a bit, they would be a cool addition at the beginning of games to the side HQ's. As in not-mid.
Recon squads could use them instead of taking a full out truck.
Cost would also need to be quite low with a quick time to self-destroy if unused.

At the moment this would sadly be more of a waste of fuel.
They really should look into the node system, resources and vehicle spawn point. With cooldows in respect to how strong a vehicle is and no resources at all this would be such a nice addition to the game.
At the moment its just a bit underwhelming, because it would be even worse than the Jeeps. Those are sadly also rarely used.
