Since Tobruk is coming.. Can you add BOTH the German and Italian factions?

Since both Rommel's forces and the Marines fought in Tobruk, it would be fascinating to have two factions on one team.

When creating an infantry squad, players would have the option to choose between a German or an Italian squad. Selecting a German squad would provide German uniforms and weapons, while choosing an Italian squad would give access to Italian uniforms and weapons.

This option would only be available for infantry squads, as the tank crew would remain exclusively German since the Italian Marines did not have tanks at Tobruk.

I believe this would be a really unique addition to the game!

Yes, that’s it, I support this idea too, but have the concern most people’s will still choose Germany because they have objectively better equipment

@silver maple But Italian marines were well equipped and most were armed with the MAB 38, which was a better smg than the MP-40

Yeah the M38 was really good, just too damn expensive to mass produce like the MP-40

Italy would better fit in maps like El Alamein, Tunisia, Sicily etc. although they were at Tobruk, they were a small number force. Best to add them in in the location I previously mentioned

I can back this if Devs dont want to add factions and their weapons, tanks, etc... Add the DLC from saif factions and let us buy them and play that faction.

Why would you want it like the Polish airborne dlc? The Polish forces was created under the British command whereas the Italians are their own thing, have their own weapons and uniforms..

Because this community is beyond help. They would prefer lazy content such as skins, as so called “new factions”. They cry when there is map specific uniforms even though this game was made to please the ww2 nerd community. The polish airborne should’ve been a new sub faction, same with every other map

Having a specific subfaction for each map is just not very resource efficient and also complicated. It's better to create subfactions for time periods and/or theatres of war.

Last I checked we are talking about adding the Italians to the game, not the other issues this game has.

If they are going to add the Italians, they should go all out. Not go the lazy way out with a cosmetic DLC

Italian tanks weren't at Tobruk, only Rommel's tanks were there (as it says in the OP)

What tanks did germans had at that time?

Panzer II, Panzer III and the short barreled Panzer IV.
They also used the Italian M13/40, but I'm not sure if they used it in Tobruk
