I know it may be difficult but this is the first good world War two game that doesn't incorporate some sort of airborne operation capability. Far older game had this. It would be phenomenal if the airhead be symbolic of a pathfinder marking a DZ.
Whether a colored smoke that stays visible until the beginning of the op or the same airhead we have. The idea is to allow us to parachute in within two grids, in the direction of travel of the aircraft. It's scattered yes, but accurate and fair.
Let's say that once the air head has landed if it isn't disabled in 30 seconds or less, the airborne op commences. It may be sheer havoc but that's what this game is all about.
Even if we can only do it in New maps it would be amazing. Especially if the exit animation and chute opening/controls were good.

You could have three planes fly by seconds after another allowing people to spawn
The current airhead can spawn the whole team within a 15 meter radius with no one knowing if no one called it out. I've dropped airheads in the center of points before and successfully.

The old CM that this was simply not possible in the games current state

That sucks, because it certainly makes sense. Hopefully the new CM is hungry for evolution.
