#Redo Mortain Like This

This is where it historically was.
Rotate the map and put the city in one of the middle sectors
That doesn't make any sense. It exists on a map, and the map can be overlayed however the game devs want it to be. https://discord.com/channels/316459644476456962/1233156397546471538 -- I moved this suggestion to a more appropriate place, and here is the map that I made to show exactly what I mean.
Not exactly, the devs must abide by what were frontlines during the battle. Hill 314 and Roadblock are neutral territory due to them being heavily contested during the battle and Mortain which was the immediate german objective in which they failed to achieve. German forces got pretty close and even entered t Mortain but didn't manage to capture the town and were stopped. It's the same with SMDM with the town of the same name being in the southeastern corner of the map.
I think that realism should take a backseat to fun, in this video game.
One of the core principles of HLL is an accurate representation of the places and battle the devs decide to depict which is in my eyes an acceptable form of realism.
If realism is important, then make the guns kill at their realistic ranges. Remove shotguns splitting people in half.
Kind of tired of the realism aspect, when this game isn't real, and has been slipping away from realism since U6. Wrong outfits, wrong guns, etc.
Sure, maps can be real, but for the 5% that actually know about the history, it might make sense, but for the other 95%, we want fun.
You might not remember but BM twisted all the maps to provide a center point that was balanced.
This was a great move. And the same should be done for Mortain.
But I wouldn't hold my breath.
I mean Hill 314 and Petite Chapelle are perfectly balanced but the Southern Roadblock strongpoint should be moved more to the center of the sector.
