Market standard these days for any video game that actually makes money (CoD, BF, PUGB, etc) has some element of dropping in with a parachute. Would be dope if for air drops you actually parachuted in. I'm sure the dev cost sucks, but you already have some of the mechanics worked out for how supply drops work. Could be super basic of just dropping from x to z with no player control. Make the 101st Airborne proud. They already did so much for you.

Airheads are a terrible mechanic and should be removed entirely
Enlisted has a feature to drop airborne and Medal of Honor Airborne’s from 2007 feature was dropping anywhere on the map. I understand there are invincible walls in the game but at least have designated drop zones that avoids the that problem.
free shooting practice for those on ground sure
Fallshirmjäger time??!?!???!
Literally yeah
It allows a team to freely bypass enemy defenses, breaking the games flow and sense of frontline.
Its also just not how paradrops work
"The teams deserves"
Irrelevant. It either fails or it breaks the flow of the match. It is a bad system, no matter how "fair" it is.
"Parachutes are a bad idea"
Also irrelevant. Even if there were parachutes, this is not how a paradrop works. You do not paradrop a few squads, you paradrop entire division. It is more akin to a large landing operation than a tactical force.
@safe adder The commander can drop an airhead wherever, whever, for free, without any need for infantry to even be in the area. It is not the same as rolling up a truck in the red. The system needs to go, no debate
