I do agree, I always found the gore system to be kinda goofy. When you get blown up, your character falls apart like a roblox character. Having some more realistic gore physics would add to the brutal and PTSD inducing gameplay

This game already has a comical amount of gore as it is. Whenever you shoot someone, an absolute bucket of blood comes flying out, and when you shoot someone with a shotgun, they literally get dismembered into a massive gore pile. It’s ridiculous. The game needs less gore.

The large amount of blood is more of a game mechanic than anything, especially are longer ranges as it helps ID a kill. But other than that yea, the shotguns exploding someone is pretty comical

The game was perfectly fine before they added it. If some people think it’s an issue, then they should add a kill feed like RO2, as an optional setting.

I think what the gore needs is a refinement, so people only get turned into shreds when they get hit by tank shells, satchels and artillery. Even grenades shouldn't rip them up like they do right now. Additionally you can also have stuff like forming blood pools under bodies, more realistic looking impact wounds. Not sure if that's what OP meant but this is my idea of a refinement of the game's gore.

absolute waste of resources, also the quirky stuff is what makes HLL what it is, I like the severed body parts that fly across the screen after an HE shell. I don't need realistic gore I'm not a psychopath

I actually wish they could add procedure ragdolls but it would kill the frames entirely due to their advanced coding skill so whatever, and gore now we have is enough, its not best but its there and it works
