more microphones on console

i just recently got the game on my ps5 and im loving it but it feels like only like 20% of players speek

It's the same story on PC. Alot of people aren't interested in talking, social media has burned everyone out of interacting with people.

And matches can last 90+ minutes, so people get a little exhausted over time and the energy levels drop leading to less talking. And the game can be frustrating, again, people less likely to talk if they're doing poorly.

So just a bunch of reasons why people don't talk. Aslong as people still work together and do their role, it's fine. Ping enemies, build garrisons, destroy tanks, defend.

Not really, on servers that allow gamepass players I have to pull teeth to get these guys to talk, on other ones there is usually plenty of banter and communicative squad leaders. It is pretty disappointing on the gamepass servers though even when they do have mics they only talk when they want me drop supplies, never when they see infantry or get into direct combat.

I disagree. I can never find a server with most people talking. Community or official, I've noticed no difference. A good server is like 4 squad leaders communicating and placing markers and like 2-3 people talking in my squad. Lol.

Joy for us we have a solid team of 5 who run so plenty of chat, even manage to get mute people to join in after a while. Communication helps massively tho so I can understand the frustrations

Every game I come across 3 or 4 people speaking, we squad up and rack up kills because of the uncoordinated enemy doing the same thing the rest of the mute team is doing. This gamepass has killed everyone speaking. (Ps I don't think social media is burning people out, it's little kids who ate either too nervous or don't have mics)

Maybe. But on other games kids are yapping the whole match with their friends.

I don't think we should delete a massive chunk of the playerbase in the hopes it will improve player quality. Huge cope- nobody is building garrisons, communicating or listening to eachother. They never have, they never will. People wanna farm kills and attack. :')

That’s just bad luck then, gotta look harder I guess. I’ve found multiple fantastic squads yesterday that communicated well and got us wins. Pushed all the way back to our final point and no commander but still came through to win. I’m a bit confused how you are completely unable to find a good squad.

well it's not like I CAN'T find good squads, but it's inconsistent. And when only 2-3/6 talk in the squad, it's just not the same, especially if the other 3 don't listen
