Nah. I love the fact that HLL is very much based on vocal communication, it's a main element of the game imo. Adding this would just make people talk even less.

I would love this if it was an admin setting so we can have people who want global prox chat and those that dont

Some players try to achieve this feeling by adding radio sound behind their voices. If you go to German servers and play as a German you can get a similar feeling.
