Just to enable cross chat? I highly doubt that. It's not like they need to upgrade the whole engine just to make VOIP interchangeable.

all you have to do is have proximity chat connect to same voip channel instead of separate for each team. 'they would have to upgrade engine' doubt. 'they would have to lower player count' why? battlebits works with proxy chat on 250 players, i don't see why hll won't with 100. imo it would work even better as you won't need to have extra voip channel to separate proxy for teams

and to op - check if suggestion exists before posting. it exists, was suggested already multiple times before.
