#tank turret traverse

Solo tankers are already at a disadvantage with being a single crewed vehicle. Just increase the speeds when the vehicle is running or not. That way if an engine shot is taken the turret slows or if there is no driver it's slower because the engine would more than likely be off.
You can’t make a game too historical accurate it will make some of the tank over powered
Meanwhile in enlisted: A functional game with fun armour gameplay.
enlisted is better if you want a COD game
Theres already a slow traverse button in the game. I dont think this unreasonable.
AT soldier should be rewarded for flanking a tank. And a tank should get punished for not adjusting quickly. Everything is perfect the way it is. To survive enemy satchels and AT you must be alert with a good crew.
"Adjusting quickly" that is handicapped
👎 the way it is now is good and balanced.
"Adjusting quickly" Don't most tanks currently get out paced in most lower gears and it takes a life time to shift between them with endless spawn waves of AT infantry? Increasing the turn rate of turrets even slightly would make the issue of AT spam less frustrating. While reaction time is key, yes, with how the game currently plays, armor is underpowered unless it's sitting up on a hill miles away from the front. Tanks in this game are extremely slow compared to infantry. In not only how they move, but how they are spawned and the cost of them. So buffing them even slightly, even if its just making the turrets move a couple degrees faster, would balance the game in a way that keeps both parties happy. Meaning, satchel kills are still rewarding, even more so than before, and tanks would then be able to react slightly faster and be able to actually manage the endless spawn wave this game has.
I mean - the real counter to solo tankers is make it impossible - aka you literally can't even enter the tank until you've got a full crew etc. We can't talk about 'historical accuracy' and then have some idiot solo-tanking a tiger and in a game all about teamwork/comms there's zero actual reason for solo-tankers to actually exist, it always just boils down to a lone, selfish player
I personally like solo tankers if no one else is tanking at all. OR if you can get a solo tanker to help defend. They are a big help if they can shut down one main area of attack especially in a urban environment. Defense never gets the help they deserve. I request solo tanker for defense all the time when commanding.
A full 360 turret traverse in the medium tank for all factions takes 50 seconds.
The sherman could do this in 14 seconds. The Russian tank in 15 seconds and the panzer 4 in 16 seconds.
So really the traverse rates are about 3x slower than what they need to be
Again, i thought you were a stickler for realism. Tank turret traverse speeds should be as realistic as possible.
If not fully realistic they need buffed same with general mobility
solo tankers are also idiots and should be banned from the game
Mediums and lights could use a turret traverse rate buff. I would still make the heavies have a slower turret traverse speed so the mediums and lights would be more viable. Even then I think Heavies should get a 25%-50% turret travese bump while lights and mediums get a 100-200% bump.
You say that, then you have a team reluctant to get into armor and the one solo is holding back an entire rear line in a PZ2 or a recon. I'm not for solo tanking, but if there aren't any other armor squads and you need armor. Sometimes you just have to endure.
so uh, they going to fix this?
big brain
Turret traverse buff wouldnt be bad. I’d like to see tank modules incorporated aswell. Something more than just blasting the track link of a tank with a repair torch to fix hull damage -checks out-
