#Body dragging.

think, the search function answers everything... short summary: not enough reason to wait for the downed player and to high of a risk for the medic/dragging player to even try
You not been in here long or something, probably the hundredth time I’ve read this suggestion.
The reason why there is no reason to wait to be revived becuase medics don't do their job half the time
Take squad for example, you as a infantryman or any role can perfrom a revive but cannot heal them, now if HLL had a feature similair to this I really do think the possibility of reviving would go way up and you would see medics potentially do their job more often!
I'd rather see a wounded warrior carry than a drag, I believe it would be more controllable and easy to implement to HLL.
its too hard for them to make this
Medics are useless anyway just redeploy it’s faster, no point adding dragging
@cyan pulsar it's faster and it makes sense just to do the fireman carry rather than dragging
Bro its faster to press esc and redeploy instead of waiting for someone revive you
no thats not the coreissue. I also play PS, that has the same system and the ONLY reason to wait there is to save a ticket, still most of the times, unless you're in a reeealy lucky spot or your squad won the engagement, waiting not only gets you killed but the one who tries to revive you (aka costing not one but TWO tickets). Its a really double edged sword. HLL doesnt have tickets and therfor no reason to wait, so no reason to give more depth to revive mechanics /medic gameplay. - all that has been discussed in a bunch of other medic related topics. In 90% situations everybody benefits from a respawn, of the 10% left, how many times would dragging be a usefull option?
Dont get me wrong it would be a nice gimmick if it would already be in the game... but as it is right now, adding it would just be a waste of ressources for a basically useless gimmick.
So make a higher penalty for dying?
i couldve swore the "tickets" for respawn is manpower. so there is a cost to redeploy. now if all nodes are built this isnt a problem unless people are trying to go WWI in the game or just not succeeding in killing the enemy.
but ive had games where no one wants to build the damn nodes and run dangerously low on manpower (25-60)
manpower doesnt effect respawns in any way. Respawns will cost manpower with the ammount depending on the class, but manpower itself is just used only for commander abilities.
@torpid blaze The reason people dont wait is because there is very little reason to, not because medics arent doing their jobs.
as mentioned there is no real downside to dying, except waiting, but you often have to wait for a medic anyways who can still die or have you be blown up. It is far more reliable to just give up and catch a respawn wave and restock your ammo and equipment. Squad has a ticket system, tickets in squad are very valuable which makes waiting for a revive far more important. While Hell Let Loose does not. Medic could be removed from the game and very little would change. Body dragging would be useful if medics were useful which they unfortunately are not a good percentage of the time
No?
as someone who has played commander plenty of times, the thought that i couldve tried deploying far more airheads if the loss of manpower wasnt so high due to redeploys saddens me, especially these days when people dont want to build nodes even after asking over 30+ mins (wont elaborate or debate on this detail, there is already a discussion [https://discord.com/channels/316459644476456962/1147903765454802995] on this)
only for medics pls
There is no reason that all classes shouldn't be able to carry wounded.
there is just no penalty like in squad for releasing so ppl rather just die with their grenades
Delete medic

I agree.
Delete medic
Delete medic.
Also, maybe consider using the search function. This suggestion is repeated so often it's practically spam.
