It would be interesting to see the Italians in the game maybe have them fighting in Sicily and Toronto against the British I was thinking Italian tanks could be: the ab41 for recon, l6/40 for light,m14/41 for medium, and heavy's could be p26/40 and p40

@ancient haven They’re still Axis, if they become an Axis nation the next year, and fight an Allied nation, that would make them an Axis nation in the game. They’re literally fighting a nation who is also fighting Germany.

I really wonder why El Alamein was included as a map, without Italians when it was the main faction. So much so that the Miteiriya Ridge is also present on the El Alamein Map. (area completely under Italian control)
The Germans of the Afrika Korps supported the Royal Italian Army as the New Zew Zeland supported the British Empire. Among other things, the British and New Zeland were equipped with Thompson 1928 and Us Sherman tanks.

As is pretty obvious, not even the British faction was 'ready' upon release, still the update with El Alamein clearly focused on the introduction of the British. Whenever the time comes that Italian forces could be included into the game, hopefully the team will have learnt from their mistakes and not introduce them in such an abysmal state as the British.
It could be the first or second battle of Tobruk.
